Re-Match
Paris was watching one of the screens getting a broadcast of some news service. A state visit by the president of Ghudaza to Washington, D.C. His teeth were grinding with every word the man spared for the cameras. He should probably turn this off. He had so few outlets for his anger here, and so much of it.

But he doesn't turn it off.

There's a crackle in the hangar, and the smell of, well, singed flesh and hair.

In a small part of his mind, the effort this will take to take care of his hair bothers him more than the pain.

Most of his mind is trying not to think, though, as he collapses to his knees on the floor and tries to breathe.

On the news broadcasts, the fight itself seems to ahve gone off without much attention, except for some comment about a very peculiar storm in the clouds, but one scary-looking mutant making that kind of entrance at a political function, killing a few politicians, and then being dragged away by another scary-looking mutant, one linked to Magneto, is certainly under discussion.

And Scott's return expression is something of a mirror of Exodus' own.

"You /do/ realize that you could have asked for /help/? You do realize that you could have not gone with 'smiting' as Plan A and come up with a couple of extra plans in the meantime, don't you?

This is the sort of thing we're trying to avoid, Exodus; people being caught in the crossfire." Scott says.

Exodus has a tendency to refer to anything evil that doesn't appear to be of human or mutant origin as 'demonic,' he doesn't much distinguish between other species, normal magic, anything of the sort. "And you have no knowledge of what you speak. You may be correct that under most circumstances you should avoid the crossfire by avoiding the fight and that this will bring unwanted attention but you are not correct that it should not have been done." He was not whole heartedly agreeing with Emma he was only saying that most times what she said was true. He glanced at Exodus and made a calming gesture with one hand.

"It is all right. You did well to move the conflict to where you did."

Paris just ...doesn't comment. He can't even drag a monster away from a bunch of stupid humans without getting lectured, hearing his master lectured? But he nods a little. So Be It, then, he'll wait next time. For as long as Magneto wants him to put up with these people.

"The portal he used to escape once I had him bleeding... it wasn't his own. Whoever did that, possibly, reanimated him?"
