The stage was set. Her costume was perfect. Transport complete. She had her lines and the plot. Now it was time to lift the curtain and begin Act I.

Lifting a phone off of someone was easy. Now she just had to hope that the contact codes she had were still active.

Hank Pym! Places! Your cue is up!

To Do Lists (Open, Avengers) @ 10:29 pm

[info]doctor_pym:

Hank's laboratory in Avengers Mansion was not, technically, in Avenger's Mansion.  Oh, the door was there, but after having rebooted the Infinite Mansion by hooking into a different pocket dimension(took him about two hours of concentrated work), it made sense to branch out into whatever space was necessary.  He certainly had plenty of work to do, even with the Avengers reforming.  They'd offered him a spot on the team, though he wasn't entirely sure he should take it.

His tenure running the so-called "Mighty Avengers" had been... well, perhaps calling it a draw was reasonable.  Some good, some bad.  There was the whole being named "Scientist Supreme" by the lifeforce of the Universe itself.  That was always good for an ego boost.  Gave him something to hold over Tony the next time he pulled that "I'm a Futurist, I just know" crap.

He looked over at his to-do list.

Build Heaven for Bill Foster.    X
Protect Women in Jan's Name   X
Watch out for Cassie                   in-progress
Bring Jan back
Find way to eliminate Ultron permanently
Undue the evil done in your name
Learn to forgive yourself

He went back to his work.   There was still so much to do.

The next phase. @ 10:25 am

Jan was irritated.  She thought a good night's sleep would fix it. No dice.  She thought some chocolate would fix it.  Nope.  She even had the last ditch effort of a nice warm shower, but as she stepped out and wandered into the bedroom in her towel she was still irritated.

"Hank, do you ever get the feeling that we're less Avengers and more fix-its for the Asgardians?  And if so, shouldn't we have fur lined hats or something?"

Unexpected Visitor @ 06:28 am

[info]lady_sif:

Sif stumbled up the sidewalk. The gates of the Avengers' Mansion loomed over her and she held on to the smallest piece of hope. The Avengers would be able to help her and help save Asgard. Something was definitely not right in the Golden Realm and Sif was determined to get to the bottom of it.

That determination helped her endure a long period in a dark cell with little food or water. It kept her going in the dark and gave her the strength to over power the guard and make her way out of Svartalfheim, the land of the dark elves. They had magic users and were fierce warriors, causing Sif to be very careful and very slow in making her way out of their realm. Not only did she have to avoid the dark elves, but the realm was home to many dangerous monsters and animals. Sif had been attacked a few times, but a crude staff made from a branch had served her well. She didn't come out of it unscathed. Her body was sporting various bruises and cuts, some deep.

The journey to Asgard had been long and treacherous, but she had made it. She didn't go into the city, instead she skirted around it. The last thing she wanted was to be tossed back into the cell. She would rather die than go back in there. Eventually she came to Bifrost and Heimdall. Getting over the bridge could have proved to be difficult, but Heimdall was her brother. Despite being loyal to throne of Asgard, Sif was his sister and he looked away long enough for her to run across the bridge to Midgard.

Sif arrived on Migard outside the Museum of Natural History. She knew the Avengers weren't far away. Heedless of people and traffic she made her way across the park to the Avengers' Mansion.

She looked at the gate and then collapsed into a heap.

Hulk SMASH! @ 07:25 pm

[info]legends_citizen:

"Come on, Bruce," Betty Banner said to her husband as she climbed out of the car. They were parked outside a warehouse in Jersey City, New Jersey.

"Where are we going, Betty?" he asked as he climbed out of the passenger side.

"It's a surprise," she said with a smile. "I've been waiting to show you this for some time."

Bruce looked at the warehouse and then at his wife. "What's inside?"

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you. Come on." She grabbed his hand and pulled him along. "You'll love this."

"Okay," Bruce resigned and followed his wife inside the building.

Date night? @ 10:33 pm

Having finally got his attention and kept it long enough to actually get a commitment of sorts out of him that required him to leave the lab, Janet turned her sharp little mind to the actual business of getting Hank OUT of the lab and to said commitment.  She'd decided they would go on a date.  A real date.  A date that might end in smooching or better if he was a good mad scientist (and if memory served, yes, yes he was.)  The lure would have to be a cute  outfit, of course, which naturally resulted in a full and busy day of shopping, pedicure, manicure, and other girl-making awesomeness.

She showed up at his lab ten minutes early, a perfect specimen of one smokin' hot Avenger chick who sometimes has wings.

"Hello, Hank."
