There was somebody waiting to be let in. She stood with her hands on her hips and one foot stepping out. Akilah had come to join the Avengers, since she didn't feel like she had any reason to stay at home in Wakanda any longer.

He notes her tone and raises a brow. He always finds the mortal perspective fascinating. Particularly how every race seems to regard the others the same way, and the tales that are told of Earth, it government, its people elsewhere. And how in the end, how really similar Skrulls, Shi'ar and humans really were... and Kree used to be. He opens his mouth to mention a handful of Earth dictators, terrorists, threats now and past, then shuts it. Not the time for that discussion, and perhaps the princess of a mostly closed-bordered, occasionally xenophobic nation is not the right person. Besides, who is he to try and change anyone's mind?

"I am certain you will find it quite easy to get yourself set up in the mansion. Let me know if you need any specific assistance."

There was a pause as Akilah examined Iason, trying to figure out what he might be good for doing. She could always use help with carrying her bags...

And then a newcomer appeared! Akilah looked at her and gave a pleasant smile.

"Hello," she replied, "My name is Akilah Munroe."

She turned back to Iason and gave him one more close look. She was wondering if he could help her access any magical artifacts and books that were otherwise out of her reach.

He certainly looks enough like he could be useful for carrying some bags. Or maybe just haul the limousine up to her window and let people unload things directly.

She might have a tougher time with the magical books and artifacts. Can he and Will he help her access magical books of power and artifacts are two entirely different questions.
Could he? Oh hell yes.
Will he, because she's an Avenger, likely ally, and all the rest?
Highly unlikely, pretty much for the same reasons he doesn't try and correct her about Skrulls.

To Vernique first, Akilah said, "This was made by the woman who cared for me before I was officially accepted as Princess of Wakanda."

Next, she turned to James. She examined his facial expression and took a step closer to him. "What is wrong?" She just knew something was up with him. But her attention was split again when Steve showed up, and Akilah introduced herself once again.

"I am Akilah Munroe."
