First impressions
It had taken her awhile, but Grace had managed to locate Defenders HQ. Granted, she got lost a couple of times on the way there....but she was there now.

Her heart was beating loudly and felt like it would fall out of her stomach. Her palms were sweaty and her feet felt like blocks of cement.

She could do this. She wanted to do this for seventeen years. Well...granted, she didn't know who her father was until recently, but she'd still wanted to meet him just the same.

Inhaling and gathering her courage, Grace walked up to the door and pressed down on the buzzer.

Pony rides? Leading around in circles? They stuck him on an angry stallion when he was four and let him go. Earth is weird.

But damn, she's cute.

Svalin didn't understand it either. She had been riding horses since the age of one. Though at that time it was with her mother.

Provided things went well with Simon and he didn't tell her to get her ass back to Boston.

She's starting to like it here.
