First impressions
It had taken her awhile, but Grace had managed to locate Defenders HQ. Granted, she got lost a couple of times on the way there....but she was there now.

Her heart was beating loudly and felt like it would fall out of her stomach. Her palms were sweaty and her feet felt like blocks of cement.

She could do this. She wanted to do this for seventeen years. Well...granted, she didn't know who her father was until recently, but she'd still wanted to meet him just the same.

Inhaling and gathering her courage, Grace walked up to the door and pressed down on the buzzer.

"I got it!" Zoey yelled and jumped up from her spot in the rec room. She, Zelbar, and Spenser were watching Kim Possible when the doorbell rang. She loved answering the door, unless it was Ohu's daddy, and she wanted to be the first one there.

The three of them raced to the door.

She opened the door (despite her mother telling her many times to ask who it was first) and smiled up at the pretty girl standing there. "Hi!"

	Grace blinked a couple of times. Crap. She'd expected the door to be answered by a butler, or hopefully, Wonder Man himself (though she'd probably just freeze right up if that was the case). 	"That's a really nice birthday present," Grace said, "You have some really nice friends." She paused. "They had a lot of different names... Freddie, Goldie, Joey, Angel, Reggie....there's a few more, but I can't remember them." If this girl was her younger sister by any chance, at least she was totally adorable. 	"Hang on, Brooke. It's the Batphone." it's award season and Brooke is an old friend who is recently divorced from a piece of work husband and doesn't want to be alone. Simon is currently entertaining her at his apartment, which he maintains for this reason. Zoey and the Defenders don't need to be around this part of his life. "Hello."
