First impressions
It had taken her awhile, but Grace had managed to locate Defenders HQ. Granted, she got lost a couple of times on the way there....but she was there now.

Her heart was beating loudly and felt like it would fall out of her stomach. Her palms were sweaty and her feet felt like blocks of cement.

She could do this. She wanted to do this for seventeen years. Well...granted, she didn't know who her father was until recently, but she'd still wanted to meet him just the same.

Inhaling and gathering her courage, Grace walked up to the door and pressed down on the buzzer.

	Zoey jumped off her chair and ran to the counter. She opened a drawer and pulled out a Sharpie marker. "Here!" she said as she ran over to Grace. "Did your broken arm hurt too?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Very much," Grace said as she took the Sharpie and began to write on Zoey's cast. "Everyone in my class at school signed it...but I wasn't lucky like you. I didn't have any cool superheroes to sign my cast." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Wow! That's a lot!" Grace gave her a smile as she finished signing her name, drawing a little heart next to it for her. "I'm not a superhero..." 	"Carol Danvers. You know her as Ms. Marvel. She used to be on the Avengers. She could a lot of different things...fly, lift buses over her head and not break a sweat, fire photonic blasts out of her hands...."
