The Best Laid Plans
The Empress was most pleased. Very pleased indeed. Things were going according to her plan. The recent fights had been entertaining and she had her champion. Now she could win the games here on her home world. Her champion would win no matter what and she now had more soldiers in her army. She was quite pleased indeed.

She was stretched out on her litter as four of her soldiers carried her to the area. It was the start of the games and by the end her champion would be victorious.

Everything was going according to plan.

His sister represents everything he's always believed. He lives and dies for Asgard, and she is its rightful princess, whether she knows it or not. Try as he might, he cannot grow angry at his sister. She is righteous, she is heroic, and she is just.

And the Empress has corrupted that.

At last, he feels the anger welling up in him, and he knows what he must do. His hands grip the walls, fingers digging into two foot thick titanium steel like it were tissue paper, and like a modern day Samson, he tears the walls down, and then flings the pieces. He's no longer about beating his sister. He's going to tear this place apart, and bring the whole mess down on top of them. If this is her Empire, it falls today. To begin with, that destruction sounds like hundreds of tons of metal with broken support walls starting to cave in.

Good thing he'd made some distance from the others, anyway, but they'll probably hear the earthquake.

	Svalin caught one of the thrown pieces and while her brother was distracted with bringing the place down, she throws it back at him. She charged in right after it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He shouldn't be so surprised. The place is definitely not as structurally sound as it was, so when he hits the wall with her charge, a section collapses on top of them.

He's also actually mad at something, even if its not her, and getting worked up. So when he swings a fist at her, it has a bit more force and speed than before. He also smashes a fist back into the wall, shaking the place more. This place is coming down, one way or another.

	The fist connected with the side of her face and pain danced inside of her skull. White flashed before her eyes. She reached out and felt around for anything to grab. She felt something, grabbed it and then tried to smash it into his face. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He gets slammed back through the wall again, the surroundings growing more and more unstable the longer they fight. This was definitely not meant to be a battlefield for Asgardians.
He tears up a massive chunk of debris, feinting once throwing it at her to try and get her ducking or dodging, then throws it into the ceiling, trying to collapse a pretty big chunk of the next floor up on top of her.

	Svalin did dodge, but got caught by the falling debris. She was buried under it and for a long moment there was no movement. The the debris on top of her started to move a little. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

While he has her restrained even briefly, he sets about his work. Instead of attacking her, he keeps smashing up the ship, raining more of the upper decks down on him, down on her pile of debris, down on the level. He doubts it will do serious harm to Svalin, but if he piles it high enough, he figures he's more likely to come out of it than she is, and in the process, the Empress is going to suffer badly for what she's done. Or at least a good portion of her ship is, as Halbjorn literally begins bringing everything down on top of them.

	The weight on top of her increases and Svalin struggled to move the wreckage from off of her, but it was heavy and after a short while she couldn't move. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Another pile of tons of debris shifts, then is tossed to the side as a much bloodier Halbjorn emerges. Seeing no sign of his sister, he roars deeper into the ship. "Empress! Thou wilt come out and face thy defeat. I hath had enow! Free mine sister or face the wrath of a god!" (Reply to this)(Parent)
