Dancing with the Devil’s Past Has Never Been Fun
Natasha opened her eyes to all too familiar surroundings. S.H.I.E.L.D. Medical. She had been in this place way too much lately. She was beginning to think that S.H.I.E.L.D. had a special wing just for her family. At some point in the past year and a half each of them had been in here for various things.

What the hell happened? The last thing she remembered was being in Boston and looking for Tony with...James? Had it really been him? Had she imagined talking to him? She remembered him and Kraven of all people. Wasn't he supposed to be dead?

If only she could shake this fuzzy feeling she had in her head she'd be able to think and remember what happened. She remembered the bistro and looking for Tony and then the scuffle. She remembered a knife catching her in the shoulder. She touched it, but it seemed to be healed. What the hell happened and how long had she been out?

She had to get out of here and get some answers.

"Wow, 'Yes, I'm happy you're happy, my dear parents...'" He rolls his eyes. "It was a side effect of my healing process. You should probably know that if you get your tubes tied - and yes, you get the company." Then he amends it. "Sort of."

Misha kissed Tasha's cheek in turn. "Sorry Mom, but I really have to see about Dad. SHIELD's secretive enough without hiding him from me. Get plenty of rest and don't give us a reason to take turns sitting on you."

He had a thought as he offered Tony his right hand, remembered the splint and switched to his left. "Does this company buyout mean I no longer a 'major stockholder' in Stark Inc?" He wasn't going to forget the auntie's surprise revelation anytime soon.

"It wasn't for my business smarts. I like my money in the bank where I can keep an eye on it." Misha didn't pull his hand away, though this felt pretty odd. He'd been about to make a joke to lighten the mood before he went off to track those pictures and rip the sender into tiny pieces. He wasn't expecting a serious response.

However, it was a subject he'd given some thought since the big reveal. "I understand that it's not really mine. It's Anya's with stipulations. Someone has to disagree when necessary, and she has something of an impulse control issue at times." His smile was that of a big brother with an adored little sister. "That, or I'm being maneuvered into a good position for plotting a Romanov/Braddock-Worthington takeover of Stark Inc. in the future."
