Catching up with pop culture
There's pizza on the coffee table, two two-liter bottles of Diet Coke, a big bowl of popcorn, and a gallon of Americone Dream in the freezer with Molly and Sarah's names on it. Molly "reserved" the lounge for the evening, and after going through all of the movies in the Mansion, assembled a pretty decent pile of movies that she thought Sarah would enjoy. A couple of Disney, some chick flicks, an action movie or two, and since Molly was feeling brave, she might as well throw in the original Nightmare On Elm Street while she was at it.

She finished setting up comfy pillows along the sofa, and grabbed the quilt from off her bed. She was dressed in her comfiest pajamas and ready for a night of vegging in front of the t.v. and indulging in junk food. She'd left a note earlier on Sarah's door to meet her downstairs in the lounge, in her pajamas and ready for a full night of movie-watching.

Molly grinned, looking at her set-up. For her first "girl's night in", she'd done a pretty good job. Now, all she needed was Sarah and she'd be all set.

She notices the shift. Her good arm is resting along the back of the couch, just comfortable that way, a little elevated, since its working, but not ideal. Her other side is away from Molly to protect the injured arm, so she's a good target for clinging to if needed, though she thought Molly was kidding - now she's not so sure. And she's definitely not objecting, especially with the music suggesting a jump scare coming up.

	Sarah instinctively wraps her arm around Molly when she jumps, somewhat protective, this time making herself available to be nestled against while the slasher scene runs its course, not at all minding Molly clinging to her. 	She nestles closer, tilting her head to rest it on Molly's, arm going around the other girl's shoulders for comfort and reassurance. The movie? Really, kind of boring. She's lived through worse. She's a lot more intent on Molly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Molly nodded into her arm. "Could we? I'm...not into horror so much. I thought you might like it, so I picked it." She managed a weak laugh. "I thought I could be brace and suck it up, but....guess it didn't happen. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Sarah does the getting up and turning the movie off this time, once she extricates herself enough to do so. Then she moves right back to where she was, cuddling Molly if the other girl, in post-horror movie mode, is ok with it, offering some comfort.
"I'm not sure I like horror so much, but I am really enjoying spending time with you. Why don't we watch things you like, and we can both enjoy it?" she replies, resting her head against Molly's.

	"Me too," Molly said, "Even if I did jump out of my skin." She snuggled up against Sarah. "Okay...want to pop in Beauty and the Beast? It's one of those 'classic' Disney movies that you HAVE to see." Though she almost doesn't want to move." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Molly smells really good. She's surprisingly soft for a brick-girl. She's cuddled up to her. She's still trembling, just a little, hitting Sarah's 'protect' button, just a bit. 	She's confused. This is wonderful, but shouldn't the straight girl, who was only close because she was scared of the movie be moving, about now? She starts to shift a little, as if to help Molly up. She stops about the time they're face to face. She freezes, doesn't move. Molly is really cute. "Uhm..." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She shifts a fraction of an inch closer. "Your hair smells really nice." She knows exactly where that came from. She didn't mean to use her out loud voice. Its Sarah's third. One was with a friend who the Tallus made her kiss. So only the second one that counts, right? And the first one that counted where it was definitely her kissing the other girl. She isn't even sure how to react, except knowing she doesn't want this moment to end.

Eventually, it does, but she doesn't pull far away, looking into Molly's eyes, about an inch away.

"I'm sorry... I didn't mean to..."

Yes she did.

Molly let out a sigh when the kissed ended. Not of relief. Of...happiness? Bliss? She didn't know what it was, only that had to be one of those most perfect moments that she'd ever experienced, and she felt herself to be a little sad when it ended.

"Don't be sorry," she said, blushing a little. "It was nice."

She bit her lip.

"I...um...wouldn't mind if it happened again, actually..."

	Blink... blink... did she just say that? She's pretty sure she did. Sarah shifts, almost pulling Molly into her lap, if not stopped. "Me neither." she says shyly, with a blush. But the shyness doesn't stop her from kissing her again. (Reply to this)(Parent)
