Olympic Level Action
The Olympics, as everyone knew, were being held in Canada this year. Canada took this very seriously. Canada took everything that put it on the international stage seriously, which meant that they were taking security for the Olympics very seriously. Which meant using their very own super-hero team. Which meant, of course, Alpha Flight.

Fortunately, it had been quiet so far and with nothing that could not be handled by regular security had happened.

Marrina was just glad there was no Atlantean team. It left her free to root for Canada. They'd done well, but but nearly as well as she'd like.

She tapped her communicator. "This is Marrina, checking in at the hockey rink. No problems here."

	Emily smiles, holding onto Jordan's arm. Ever since the trip to New York, she's been particularly cuddly with him. Some part of her assumes that eventually her mother will find out and try to put a stop to it, but in the meantime, she'll enjoy it while she can. "Hey, Mason! Hey, Marrina!" Emily greets cheerfully. Madison and Lil wave back to the approaching swarm of teenagers. They recognize Emily from photos her mother has sent, but Marrina's a new face.

Madison gives his youngest a grin and nods his head, as if to say 'niiice'.

Lil smacks him, then beckons the kids over. "Boys, hold out chairs for your ladies." She smiles at them. "Girls, I'm Lillian and this is Madison. Thank you for not letting our sons burn the headquarters down so far."

Jordan pulls out his mother's chair first, then Emily's. He's done this enough times, both at his mother's insistence, and at functions for the re-opening of Bochs Electronics with his patents that the formal manners are almost second nature by now. He actually can clean up pretty nice, when he has to.

"Yeah, we tried, but they never let us have any fun. Mason, you got it ok over there? If you need a booster seat, I can grab one."

Ok, so he's only mostly on best behavior. Little brothers have special rules.

	Jordan blinks at Mason, then gets a big smile. About time his little brother stood up to him. "Well then, the hero deserves a reward. Mason grins, showing off the jacket. "I melted the guy's beer can and he freaked out and ran off crying before he could even think to hit anyone else. Regular security grabbed him at the top of the stairs.

After things settled down again, the team caught me on their way out and gave me a jacket. Hebert signed it even!"

Yes it was moderately lame he knew the team lead's name, but he liked curling.

	Madison grinned, reaching over to pat Mason on the head. "Good job kiddo." Maybe one day he'll pull security for a real sport even. Of course he'd never say that to his youngest though. ~~Lil would beat him up.~~ "So how's everything been working out with the team?" "You're a pig, bro." Mason rolls his eyes at Jordan, looking over the menu while his father orders a bottle of wine, waiting for the waiter to shuffle off again before going into superhero stuff.

"Marrina's right about Atlantis though. Some rebellion that we put a fast stop on. Oh yeah, and there was the thing with all those monster people in some city under the ocean floor. That was intense. At first I tried to help this really tall guy, I mean bulkier than Jordie even, fight some even bigger creepy guy who still looked human, but that really didn't work. Then I ended up fighting this giant blob dude made of acid, which went a tiny bit better. We were all getting kinda curb-stomped though, to be honest, until this... I think someone called it a god-eater showed up."

A pause.

"Oh yeah, and Marrina's a princess." He grins, beaming. "So yeah, we're all kinds of awesome."

Madison extended a hand over the table to each of his sons. "Dating royalty, and successful interim leader of the world's greatest superhero team. High-five guys."

Lillian smiles and shakes her head at her husband. "Girls, don't ask me why I love him. I'm still trying to figure it out myself." She gives them a wink. "Okay, everyone figure out what you're ordering. I'm starving."

	The deviant thing was not nearly as good a memory for Marrina. She and Alex had nearly been eaten and she'd gotten a hand cut off (she got better). She blushed a little. Lillian speaks up again as Madison concludes high-fiving his boys.

"Yes yes yes... you clearly haven't changed. Now, boys, faces in your menus. Girls, don't encourage them right now. They don't need it." She smiles at them. There will be girl-talk later. For now, she's happy that each of her boys has someone they seem to have cozied up to, who seem to think well enough of each of them as well.
