Trying that outside life thing...
With the summer stretching ahead of her, Sammy had to do something other than help clean the hydrobase and train. She told her parents she wanted the summer to relax and suspected relaxing meant a little more than wasting a few thousand rounds at the shooting range. A girl didn't get a life with a pair of noise-canceling headphones on.

She found her first outside activity in the paper. Rooftop Films seemed like it might be fun, and it was something she didn't need a date to see. The open bar afterward would be decided on when the time came.

	Qamar comes out of the men's room, his face soaking wet and yet still smeared with pie cream. "Sammy!" He averts his eyes when he sees that she's shirtless, and he slides out of his jacket and hands it over. "There's a phone in the pocket." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	She punched in a phone number. "Whatever it was seemed to just be looking to cause a little trouble." When the other end picked up, Sammy gave her location and asked for an immediate pick-up. She closed it and handed it back to Qamar. "Are you all right?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Her eyes crossed as she tried to look at her face. All she could glimpse were patches of white and red. Why couldn't it have been HYDRA?

"If you have any secret teleporting powers, now would be a good time to come out of the closet. I'd really like to be in my shower before anybody sees me." C'mon, dammit, smile so the night isn't a total loss. "I'll make at stop at the ladies' room before my ride gets here and sneak out before the cops see me."
