Back home again
Ok, so the trip to Somalia was weird. But she did the job, and found her long lost father. Family reunion done, time for things to get a little more back to what passes for normal in the surreal place Kelly lives.

She calls the only other person outside of 'work' she has all that much contact with.

	"Okay, so. Three of us for pizza and wings..." Melissa is saying, before the buzzer near the fridge rings. She walks over and speaks for a moment, then turns to Kelly and Deadpool. "Oh, look! "No more screaming. Right." replies Wade as he nods his head to Kelly.. somehow. Who the heck knows how he moves around in that tank.

He gives a little swish, then says in a low tone, "She's really nice, Kelly-pants. You bagged yourself a good one! She's even really hot too. Now, I'm not trying to be a creep, y'know.. It's just hard to miss that your baby girl's girl is smokin'!"

Kelly beams. "Oh, its ok, I know she's hot. We're going to go blow up a warehouse on our next date, I think. And she's taking me gun shopping and buying me butterfly knives. I totally hit the jackpot. Just no hitting on my girl." she replies firmly, talking about blowing up warehouses and gun shopping to her dad's head in a bowling ball while she casually gets out paper towels and plates for everyone.

"Hope you like spicy - I ordered the hottest stuff they've got."

Melissa sighs as she pays the pizza guy, not even noticing that he's checking her out. She's still trying to get herself calmed down about the scene in her apartment because she doesn't want Kelly to think she can't handle this. She promised not to freak out, and she's going to honor that.

She goes back upstairs, taking deep breaths on the way up the stairs.

Not freaking out, not freaking out, not freaking out....

She whispers the command to disable the wards so that she can enter the apartment.

"Okay, food's here!" she says cheerily.

"Extra hot hot wings, regular buffalo wings, and two pizzas. One pepperoni and cheese, the other sausage and pineapple." Mel says.

"Let's eat."

"DO I like spicy stuff.. does the pope shit in the woods?" replies Wade to Kelly, and hops a few times. Making the tank hop with him. the whole "no hitting on my girl" makes him stop, and rather soberly, he says "Kelly, if I have my way, she'll be making an honest woman out of you. Hitting on my future-to-be-one-day Daughter-in-law is just groce!"

When Melissa returns with food, he's all smiles. "Yay! Mel-mel has pizza!" he says, rolling a bit back and forth and generally seeming tohave ants in his.. uhm.. non existent pants.

Kelly lays out a napkin and plate for Mel and waits for food to be set out. "Mmm, that smells awesome, thanks, sweetie!" she offers, craning her neck up to give Mel a kiss on the cheek.

She fishes out a hot wing and stuffs it into the nacho slot, messily, then helps herself as well.

"I don't know, dad. We're just getting to the meet the parent stage and taking things slow. I haven't done this serious dating thing before. I'd introduce her to Mom too, but I've never met her, she doesn't know I exist, and as far as I've heard, she'd probably try and shoot you out of a cannon or mount you on the trophy shelf."

Melissa actually laughs at Kelly's description of her mother's treatment of Deadpool.

"Wow, that almost sounds like my Mom and Dad when they got into a fight." she chuckles, grabbing a slice of pizza and a couple of wings.

"So, what's the plan now, Kelly? Are you and your dad just going to do this whole talking head thing for a bit, or is there a bigger plan coming up?" she asks.
