Going for a ride...
Ohu Amane does more with his time than just eating, reading, playing video games, watching movies, and sleeping. Today, he's gone out to help live up to the name of his team. He will Defend people!

So it is that he's sitting in the back seat of a car, smiling quietly, while the two carjackers in the front seat swear and fire back at the police chasing after them.

"I don't think you're going to get away," Ohu says pleasantly.

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" the one riding shotgun declares, leaning out the window, firing at the police behind them.

"Noisiest damn hostage we've ever fuckin' taken," the driver declares, spinning the wheel to take a corner at top speeds, hoping to lose the cops.

"I think you're supposed to use your turn signal," Ohu comments.

"Shut UP!!" the gunman declares.

Ohu smiles quietly. He hasn't seen yet any potential danger to any civilians or policemen yet, or to himself of course. But eventually, he'll put an end to the whole thing, when it's gone on long enough to make a good story.

	He's in town for one reason. There's family he wants to visit. But on the way to the Defenders HQ, Captain Marvel's been a bit distracted by some trouble. Flying overheard, the costumed teen hybrid swoops. Once close enough, he takes careful aim and launches a small photon blast at the gunman's hand in attempt to make him drop the gun. The gunman drops his gun and swears. "CRAP! IT'S A MASK!"

"And a superhero under it, too," Ohu points out helpfully from the back seat.

The driver hits the gas and tries to spin around another corner, but as he starts to do so, Ohu can sense the life crossing the street around the corner. She won't make it in time.

So he abruptly and calmly leaps into action, surprising the two men with his quickness, lunging half into the front seat and spinning the wheel, sending the car heading straight for a brick wall...

	"Captain Marvel to be specific," the hero points out cheerfully. Following the car, he jumps in surprise. Swooping down, he moves to grab the car and lift it off the street before it can crash. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Inside the car, Ohu transforms into a massive spider. Leaping onto the driver's lap, the driver screams and leaps from the car, landing on the road just as the police cars squeal to a halt in front of him. He tries to get to his feet, but with his ankle twisted from the landing, he's soon tackled.

Ohu eyes the former gunman. "You're a little smarter than your friend, right?" the massive spider asks.

The gunman just stares in shock, eventually nodding his agreement.

The spider, probably three feet in diameter, crawls outside of the car and looks down at the superhero below.

"Hi there! You're Captain Marvel! You've had some marvelous adventures! Why, just last week, you stopped Stilt-Man in that bank robbery!"

Captain Marvel jumps as the driver jumps. "Hey!" he calls, wincing at the landing. "Dude, you're supposed to wait till I let you down!" he calls.

He blinks as the spider talks to him and then grins. "Hi! Yeah. I feel bad for poor Stilt-Man though. He tries so hard but doesn't quite get he needs to stop being a villain," he chuckles, not phased by a talking giant spider.

"Gonna bring ya the other bad guy now, Officers," he calls to the police, slowly lowering the car down to the pavement.

	The spider crawls forward back up, and by the time the car lands, it's a black man getting out of the car in a nice suit, even as the gunman is pulled out of the car by the police and arrested. He offers his hand to Wally, in that same excited-happy voice of the spider. "I see you're wearing the costume of the first Captain Marvel! Are you Kree too?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Dusting his hands off, Captain Marvel blinks as the man in the suit approaches him. "Not exactly. Its based off his but my Dad didn't want me running around with my underwear on the outside so I changed the design a bit..." he trails off. "A little, yeah. Are you a fan...or like...a skrull?" 	Ohu smiles. "Yes! I'm a fan of all kinds of stories, and superheroes have some of the best! I am Ohu Amane, son of Anasi and Aso!" The police come to check Ohu, having heard the carjackers had taken a hostage fitting his description. Ohu waves them away. "Let's go somewhere we can talk, Captain Marvel!" Captain Marvel grins at the declaration of fandom. He's always happy to meet fans. The news of Ohu's heritage causes some brief surprise.

He starts to say something to the cops but has to stop because he's got to catch Ohu. Wally blinks then laughs. "Alright then," he laughs. "I'll take care of this guy," he assures the officers, lifting off the ground and heading for a rooftop. When he lands, Wally lets Ohu down. "So...what do ya wanna talk about?"
