Male bonding(After the Wakanda plot)
Daniel had decided it was time to get to know more guys in the super hero community. So he had sent word out every way he could that he was hosting a male bonding night. People were expected to be good or he would open up a portal with a well placed spell to drop them on the front lawn.

He had done a lot of cooking. He had also managed to get drinks for any of the guys who might take him up on the offer who could drink.

And he also asked that they bring movies with them. He had a card table set up for poker if anyone felt like playing.

Now all he had to do is wait.

Justin's been spending the last day or or so since Tina left getting the remainder of his meager possessions moved over to the penthouse and working on designs. He stops over at the Mansion and realizes there's a get together this evening.

He heads out to the local store and grabs The Corruptor and a couple of other action flicks for the shindig and comes back, looking for the person who set this up. He sees Daniel and figures this guy might know what's going on.

"Hey. I'm Justin. You have any idea who's running this party? I brought movies." he says.

"Daniel," he offers greeting the other guy with a smile. "And that'd be me. Just put it on that table to the side, would ya? I'm gonna try and figure out some way to pick movies once everyone gets here."

He must look a little odd. Pale white guy with pointed ears in very casual clothes when he looks like he'd be more comfortable in wizard robes and maybe a goofy hat. But it doesn't matter. He's just a guy.

Justin's seen his share of odd people, though Daniel looks less odd and more...exotic. He seems okay so far, and Justin places the movies on the table.

"At the worst, you could have people drop the names of the movies they brought in a hat and draw them out." he says.

"I don't know that I've seen you around here before, Daniel. Granted, I'm rarely here myself these days, but are you new or did I just manage to miss you every time I've been here?" he asks.

News of a party definitely gets Wally's attention. He definitely intended to go. Having gone out to gather a few comedy DVDs and a couple snacks, the hybrid hero comes from upstairs with a huge grin on his face. Not bothering to hide the negabands, he heads right over towards Daniel and Justin.

"Hiya, guys!" he greets. "Great idea, Danny...I mean Daniel, sorry," he laughs. "But great idea. Parties rock," he's certainly in a good mood. Quickly a hand is offered to Justin. "Hey, dude! I'm Wally! Great to meet ya!"

	"Wally," he greets then sighs. "Wally. I cooked and prepared all the food and you brought more? You're killing me man." He is amused as opposed to actually being offended. Daniel had gotten pretty much everything they could want for food except for blooming onions. "Put the DVDs where Justin put his. And names from a hat isn't a bad plan Justin." Justin shakes Wally's hand and offers a smile. "Hey, Wally. Nice to meet you." he says.

"And yeah, it looks like there's tons of food already. I hope more people show up so that we don't have to try to eat it all." he says. Tina cooks a lot for just the two of them and they often have leftovers.

"So how have you guys been? Have a good day and all?" he asks, trying to spark up some conversation.

Quickly flying over after the handshake to place the DVDs down on the table. He's then quickly over by Daniel and trying to toss a friendly arm around his shoulders. "Dude, I only grabbed some junk food to fill in gaps between your awesome stuff. And we have no idea who might show up," he nods. "If someone that eats like my uncle shows...we'll need all the food we can get," the hybrid nods seriously.

Of course the goofy grin is back real quick. "Oh yeah! Today was awesome even if I did have to fight a buncha ninja," he repkies. "What about you, dude?"

"Ehhh... Some idiots tried to do a touch of demon summoning. Had to go play the cranky wizard," Daniel says shaking his head. "Also met with my old man. We were helping set up some warding spells for a couple occult shows that are really in the know."

He takes helping out 'his people' seriously. "And some annoying little snot accused me of being a D&D freak."

Ah, he is slightly cranky about that. "But things were cool otherwise."

Daniel gives up. He didn't care that much that more food was being brought in but he thought he had made plenty. Six pizzas, three crock pots of sausages and peppers. Another crock pot of baked beans with bacon. Chips and seven kinds up dip up the wazoo.

Plus a couple of fried chickens. Obviously they needed more meat. And other things to make a doctor wonder about their cholesterol levels. "Think I should see about cooking up some more food? Or order more? Seems to me you guys think we'll need more."

	Daniel rolls his eyes good naturedly. "You all have black pits for stomachs," he accuses with a teasing grin. Then he gets out his cell phone and calls to a few different places besides just Big Nick's. Lots of Chinese food also seemed like a good idea. Good thing they still had plenty of time.
