Lions, and Tigers, and Bears...oh my! (open to anyone) @ 12:06 am

[info]ng_rgoodfellow:

The excitement of the holidays was winding down and life was becoming mundane once again. Where was the fun in that? Life needed to be exciting to be worth living. These poor fools that went about their daily routine didn't realize that. They needed to live a little and take a break from their boring mundane lives.

The lions outside the New York Public Library, Fortitude and Patience, were just the things to liven up the droll lives of New Yorkers. The huge statues started to move and eventually stood up. They both let out a mighty roar and then jumped off their pedestals and started moving down 5th Avenue.

Robin was far from done. Central Park was not far away and neither was the Central Park Zoo. In the blink of an eye, the animals in the cages were out of the cages and the people visiting the zoo were in the cages. It didn't take long for chaos to erupt.

Morning in the City @ 01:27 am

[info]pop_trash_hero:

He has Zoey up and dressed, the rest of this should be easy. Nice smile, lots of non-acting. He can do this. So when he barges into Syd's room with a huge kid grin on his face all of it is for real.

"Come on, Sydney! Up and Adam!"

Contingency Plans @ 03:17 am

[info]nextgen_adult:

Margaret Donovan-Stark wasn't a stupid woman and she wasn't a fool. She knew that there were always people out to take her position, this time it was family who was after her position. Which was to be expected.

She had been watching the stocks closely and was concerned about this Scion company. They had been buying as much stock as possible and if for some reason they teamed up with her brother...well Margaret would be prepared. Contingency plans were always necessary when someone was trying to take you down.

It was time to initiate those contingency plans just in case. She always covered her ass and she always had a few plans for the future. She began the necessary file transfers.

Dorthy Needs a Toto @ 12:50 pm

[info]franklen_four:

Before they left the Baxter Building, Franklin had telepathicly cloaked himself and Dorthy from the view of other people.  And when they got outside, he carried them both away on a telekinetic journey to Xavier's.  The two of them landed outside the gate and Franklin dispatched with the cloaking.  He needed a short rest from the trip, but was otherwise fine.  And he announced to the mansion that they had visitors via an enjoyable device on their gate.

"I wonder who is going to greet us today."

Prelude to Opening Night @ 08:29 pm

[info]hellfireprince:
Current Location: New York

"Paulo, let's make sure we have the extra cases of Patron on hand. I don't want us running out midway through the night. It's one the bigger sellers on this side of the Atlantic." Julian Gallio, known to most as Julian Howard,  said to assembled team around him. He often had meetings like these with his staff to motivate them and keep the company goal in mind. The goal of the Howard Entertainment Group was to provide a complete sensory experience at all levels of the "performance" as it were.

He'd gone to each of these five men and women personally, selling them the idea of working for his brand, a fledgling in truth, but his idea, his ultimate goal was to make himself known on the nighttime scene through the Popular Outcast, the club they now stood in. The group stood on the spacious dance floor, with poles and cages at each of the corners for the female clientele that loved to put on a show for the boys. Of course, the fun kept the women coming back. The women, booze and hint of an illicit sexual encounter or two kept the men coming.

Julian considered himself as a purveyor of a service that most of the world's people needed, but never asked for: freedom.

"All right, people. Let's get back to work and get this place ready for opening night. Francesca, when my 2pm shows, please direct her to my office in the back. I'll be going over figures." Julian said, straightening his tie and cuff-links. Francesca came over and helped as the others dispersed to carry on their jobs.

"You look fine, Mr. Howard. Your meeting will go well." Francesca said in lightly accented Italian.

"Thank you, bella. I'm sure it will go well. Back to work now." he said, heading toward his office.

Upon entry, his visitor would find an onyx desk with a personal laptop with a leather chair behind it, in which Julian sat. There was a bookcase on the South wall, and a couch directly across from it. Julian often read or thought on the couch when he wasn't busy otherwise. When she entered, he'd stand and receive his visitor. Viveca Von Rohem.

This...was going to be interesting.
