Marlow Gets a Makeover (open)
Downtime after the Defenders/Offenders war gave Marlow plenty of time to think about the spells she'd used and their effects. She'd knowingly overreached several times for magic she didn't think she should be able to wield and had done so easily. It was something she had to figure out before their next battle. She tried to contact Clea but those particular spells weren't working so well. Perhaps it was something she could talk to Matt about since he was the only other magic user she knew that might not get agitated when she said power surge.

Sure, there was Dawn...or was it Aslief? Who knew anymore. One was nice but untrained, the other expert and dismissive. While the others merely overlooked her, Aslief literally did not see her until there was a need for another sorceress.

Barefoot, wearing a boy's black tee shirt and faded to nearly white jeans, she made her way from the bungalow to the main house for a late breakfast. A ball of pulsing light hovered a few inches above her open palm.

	Andy runs down along the beach, trying to see if he can actually tire himself out. He knows he won't, but he's always trying to find the limits of his own strength, find out what he can do without Titan. He doesn't notice Marlow from his vantage point, but he does take a minute to enjoy the the last light of the day. Dad liked to watch sunsets, and so did he. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	If he is ever asked, Andy will not admit to jumping out of his skin at the moment. He will simply say that he'd been meaning to test his considerable leap already. "Marlow! Oh, hi. Um...can I get a little warning before you do that next time? I wasn't expecting anyone." Andy says. Once he's calmed a bit, he'll nod. "Sure, what's your question?" he asks. 	He wasn't a demon. Marlow knew about demons. But he didn't look real either. It was thing that nagged at her curiosity. She looked up. And up. Annnnnd up some more. 	"Sea cotton," she said vaguely as she stepped closer and put a hand on his chest. Then the other hand. "You're very warm," she said with a smile, looking up. He wasn't scary at all, even this close.
