Saving the Kids
Irina had to concentrate on the image that Lyta had sent to her, but after a few moments she had been able to open a portal to a spot just inside the main building. Her knives had been out and ready when she stepped through. They went flying through the air heading toward the two guards that had been standing near the door. The knives hit them in the chest and they fell to the ground. Stepping through portals and into trouble was quite common for her.

"Let's go," she called back to the others.

What Lyta was going to do was extremely stupid, and there was a chance that she'd probably get shot. Or worse. But she couldn't think about that right now. There were kids that needed her help.

Lyta reached out with her telepathy to a small group of the soldiers. Again, she prodded into their minds, looking for the right "buttons" to press. You want to let me pass. You want to stop anyone who wants to hurt me and my teammates. She sent a mental image of the other soldiers.

She wasn't taking any chances this time, she flew straight over the soldiers as fast as she could.

Priority number one was getting passed everyone to get the kids. Priority number two was try not to get shot.

	A few of the soldiers paused and then opened fired on their other soldiers. The other ones went down, but more poured into the hall. They opened fire on Argo, but the bullets bounced harmlessly off of him. They scattered as he walked through them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Corey pulls as much concrete out of the place as he can safely manage, tries to focus on getting near the kids so that it'll protect all of them as well as himself. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
