Some Insanity of the Temporary Kind Otherwise Known As Romanov/ Stark Family Dinner
There were very few things that they did as a family so it made these family dinners even more important. They were an unorthodox family to say the least, but they were a family and families had dinner on occasion. Natasha tried to do this at least once a month, but things had been so hectic lately and with people spread out all over it was hard to organize family dinners.

Reservations were made at Delmonico Steakhouse in a private room. Family dinners were an /experience/ and better that they were off in private instead of scaring the masses. Not to mention there was less chance of the media snapping pictures and whatnot.

Natasha checked her reflection in the mirror. It was a new black dress to accommodate her growing stomach and her favorite jewelry. There was definitely a very noticeable baby bump now. The baby had become very active in the past two weeks and was taking aim at Tasha's organs. Thankfully he was still small enough to not hurt so much.

When they were ready to go Tony and Tasha headed over to the restaurant. The kids would arrive with their dates on their own. They were shown to the private room and their table.

	Natasha watched all of it with interest. Bickering and teasing were normal for family dinners and it was nice to see her childrens' dates fitting in with the normal insanity. She reached over and took Tony's hand and gave it a squeeze. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

"Don't worry, Misha. I intend to make sure your mother doesn't stress or tire herself out. She's been working with me thus far, but I also try to remember not to hover. It's easier not to get shot that way." he says.

He takes Tasha's hand and kisses it gently.

"You look beautiful, Tasha. I know, I said that earlier. But it's been about twenty minutes, and I thought you should know." he says.

"I'm pregnant, not an invalid or fragile," Natasha half-heartedly grumbled. "I'm not going to break. I have done this before. Twice as a matter of fact."

She smiled and blushed in response to her husband's words. "And you Mr. Stark are looking incredibly handsome."

That should be enough to embarrass the kids a bit. "Okay, status reports," Natasha said. There was a certain routine to family dinners.

There was so much he couldn't say and more he wouldn't talk about. But all he needed to do was give an update.

"I'm still breathing. Darlene is still convinced she's my personal assistant. She's fielding calls from some guy in Pasadena and enjoying it far too much. School starts again in the fall. Lyta and I are still working on our takeover of Stark Inc by Worthington Industries...or not. Don't get comfortable."

"You can try to take over Stark Inc," Anya smirked. "I look forward to a good challenge."

"Let's see. School's going well. My team is doing well despite a run in with space bugs and getting bug guts all over the place. One of my teammates got bit and turned into a mutant space bug. Toni and I spent the weekend at a spa getting pampered and looking at eyecandy. And last but definitely not least, I have the world's most incredible boyfriend."

Oh hell she was running late. Eliza gives everyone a very awkward smile as she slips in. She had to make explain yes she was with the Stark-Romanov party. Could they please get the hell out of her way? Of course she hadn't said that.

But she thought it. Eliza herself is in a short black dress with matching heels. Nothing special. And she is happy to finally be here.

	Eliza makes this ridiculously happy sound when Anya hugs her. She hugs her sister back. "I missed you too. I'm thinking of staying up here for a week to catch up with everyone." Even with the extended family that was the Avengers, Steve found all of this a little overwhelming. An only child of people without any other family of their own, this big a family thing was just a little bit much.

He gave Eliza a little wave when she arrived.

He jerked a thumb in Anya's direction. "She's way too nice to me. Considering all I've done lately is worry her to death."
