Getting back in the saddle
A file was delivered to Sammy and included handwritten instructions from the head office. She read it over the day's unnumbered cup of coffee, then put out call for a meeting with the remaining team members. Each was requested to be ready to leave immediately. Tech, the newest member, was also included in the meeting call. Whether or not he would be useful on this particular mission was to be seen. He could end up staying on the helicarrier. The rest would go.

Hydra had been a very naughty villain group and they were going to get a closer look.

Four agents swarmed Aleks not knowing they were in for a world of hurt very soon. They all opened fire.

The bullets hit, marking and scraping up his uniform, but otherwise bouncing off. "You boys are gonna wish you hadn't done that." he snarls, rushing into their midst.

One agent got hit and went flying backward. One of the remaining three lifted his weapon and tried to bring it down on Aleks' head. The other two kept firing.

The weapon hits with a resounding crack, damaging the weapon more than Aleks. He backhands the agent, and wades into the fire of the other two, closing the gap.
"Now you're just pissing me off."

The agent knocked into the other two took the direct fire and landed with a thud on the ground and didn't move. The other two had a sense of doom as the green haired man approached them. They did keep firing.

This is part of why he hates fanatics. They never just run away. And the bullets do sting, and they're hell on uniforms. On the other hand, not needing to chase anyone has its upside.

He wades into the gunfire, lashing out with a quick snap punch to the first, then following with a knee to the other's gut.

They both went down. One was unconscious and the other was in a fetal position on the ground clutching his stomach.

Aleks cuffs the pair of them for pick up when they get to clean-up, and finishes knocking out the guy who was still awake. He may not have the range of the gunslingers, but his way usually results in prisoners.

That done, he hurries to catch up to the others.
