The Calm Before the Fall

Leo had gotten a call from Kal about something she wanted him to look at with his talents that was related to all the gang violence going on. He was up to do whatever he could to help end all of it. It was getting really annoying and cutting into his business as a private eye.

He had mostly recovered from when he had help deal with the gang war that had erupted though some spot were still sore.

He also remember that Abigail Hawk the of the PI had also been looking into all of this and gave her a call letting her know what was up and if she had any info or just to help she could come over too.

Leo typically didn’t use his abilty in front of people who didn’t know about it like Abigail and Jack but Kalypso knew and time might be of the essence. He grabbed the object and took off the glove on his other hand. Quickly mentally preparing himself for the search he then touched it with his uncovered hand. His eyes turned white it might take a while before he found what they were looking for especially if it was not important to the object.

It had taken a while to find a useful memory that could tell him more about what was going on. This point in the past was not very important to the object. What he saw did not make much sense. It was a young woman explain some of her plans to whomever it was the object belongs to.

She talked about setting up the gang war to weaken the Kingpin so she could take over everything. She wasn’t too detailed but Leo got the impression that she was a very good long term planner.

When he finished with the memory he brought himself back. His eyes turned back to normal and his hand was shaking a bit as he reached into his pocket to down half a tube a life savers to counter act the side effects of his powers. “This is bad,” was all he managed to say at first.

	“That depends on what you think taking out the Kingpin fall under,” Leo said starting to recover. “Whoever was behind this is a new player, completely under everyone’s radar.
