Catching some rays (open)
Izzy took a towel out to the lake and stripped down to her bikini. She spread out her towel on the ground and laid down on it. The sun was out, and Izzy had every intention of getting something resembling a tan before the summer was over.

The world wasn't being attacked by alien invaders or there wasn't some other crisis that required the X-Men's attention. And surprisingly enough, she didn't have a training session today. Today was about just lying under the sun and relaxing.

A new haircut does wonders for a guy's self-esteem. Cassidy almost felt like a new person, and he still couldn't help but touch his hair in shock. It had been long and blond since...forever.

He had to admit that he liked it better this way. He spies Cait and...Isabelle, he thinks, and wonders if he should say hi. Cait is his friend, but he's not sure what Isabelle thinks of him.

She's been the one to snap him out of his freak-out after Jake. He decides to gather up his courage and go say hello. Cait encouraged him to get to know people and this was the best way.

"Hey, you two. How's it going?" he asks, trying on a smile.

"Oh, yeah, things are great, Isabelle." Cassidy says, a little surprised that she's being nice to him. She's really cute, but Cassidy can't afford to think of Isabelle, or any girl, like that.

If he loses control of himself for even a moment, someone else could die. He won't let that happen.

"I didn't mean to eavesdrop, but I heard something about surfing. I've always wanted to try it, even though I know I'll end up falling in the water." he says, chuckling a little. Then he reminds himself to stop before something happens, and locks down his feelings.

	"Hey Cait." he says with a smile. "Thanks. I really like it and Jenny told me to come back if I need a touch up. She's really great. Thanks for introducing me to her." Cassidy says. He looks back to Izzy and nods. "Well, maybe I'll do that, Izzy. Just don't take any embarrassing pictures of me falling a few hundred times. It will happen." he quips. "Cassidy hands a board to Cait and then one to Izzy with something of a smile. He also tries not to stare at either girl in her bikini, and manages not to...barely. Finally he grabs his own board and looks at the water.

He reminds himself mentally not to let his t-shirt come off in the water, because that would be bad.

"Okay, ladies, this where you get your cameras out and ready for the blackmail material." he jokes with a smile.
