Checking on the home team
Commander Fontaine, Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., made the rounds when the special ops team came back in. After their last disastrous outing, she wanted to make sure they were still in one cohesive piece. The reports had been favorable.

She hadn't met the newest member yet, though she knew the contents of his file. She'd been the one to have it sent to Sammy for consideration. Her little gun nut, and Walker and Dugan, could always use someone with the ability to build a better gun.

Sammy's report had been terse but informative. The others' a little more informative. Landon was next on her list.

This time she didn't hurry. With the entire secong floor to herself she hummed while she showered and prepared emails on her PDA. She sent them off, one to requisition apartment space and additional lab and storage on the ground, and one to get a safe house for Jessica. She cited the ongoing mission with Savoy as the reason they were attacked and delicate condition of the expectant mother.

With those done, she went back downstairs to find Jason.

Legion had arrived not long after Sammy went upstairs. Jason gave the android a series of protocols and sent him to patrol the woods. He would not return to the house unless totally necessary.

When Sammy returned, Jason was involved in a computer game on his laptop, one of those popular MMORPG's that was generating more money than any game had a right to.

"Come on now, noob. You cannot interfere with me 1337 skillz!" Jason says, furiously tapping buttons on the laptop.

Rather than disturb his game, Sammy went to the kitchen to make a fresh pot of coffee. Funny enough, listening to Jason brought back listening to James and Charlie at the mansion when they played video games against each other.

She was much for games, but she recognized the need for him to relax in his own way.

When the coffee was done, she poured a mug and went back to check on him and if he was having fun storming the castle.

He notices her come out of the kitchen with the coffee and smiles as he finally kills the Orc Warrior with Human Paladin. He then logs off the game after typing a good night message to his guildmates.

Gorgeous woman in my living room. It's been fun, guys!

He closes down the computer and looks at Sammy.

"Hey, there you are. Ah was just enjoyin' a little PvP action in Land of Battlecraft before relaxin' for the evenin'." Jason tells her.

"How's the coffee?" he asks.

"Oh, this was just to pass the time while Ah waited for you. Legion already checked in and he's out on patrol until mornin'." Jason says, setting the laptop down on the coffee table.

"You play any video games, Sam? Ah find myself curious just because Ah think it would be funny to watch you play a game like Halo. Actually, you and Dugan would be really funny to watch playing Goldeneye or Metal Gear." he says.

I put in my requests for ground side housing for the team and lab and storage space, and a place for Jessica to stay for awhile until the S.H.I.E.L.D. team completes their mission against Savoy. After the revelations of the last few days over the extent of Tech's abilities, she would use his continued employment with S.H.I.E.L.D. like a bat if she had to get things done. They'd given him to her. They could only blame themselves if she ran with it.

"Massage?" Like she could forget about that. She hadn't had one since Mother's Day when she and Mom had gone for their bi-annual visit. "Okay." She shook a playful finger at him. "I'm not stripping for it."

Jason laughs at the warning. "Oh darn. Ah was /sure/ Ah had you right where Ah wanted you that time, Sammy. Well, just relax and turn around and Ah'll take care of the rest." he assures her.

He sits behind her on the sofa and begins to knead her flesh gently, his hands starting at her shoulders before his fingers work their way to the back of her neck.

"Let me know if Ah'm bein' too rough, Sam." Jason says.
