Checking on the home team
Commander Fontaine, Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., made the rounds when the special ops team came back in. After their last disastrous outing, she wanted to make sure they were still in one cohesive piece. The reports had been favorable.

She hadn't met the newest member yet, though she knew the contents of his file. She'd been the one to have it sent to Sammy for consideration. Her little gun nut, and Walker and Dugan, could always use someone with the ability to build a better gun.

Sammy's report had been terse but informative. The others' a little more informative. Landon was next on her list.

	That had a suspicious tone to it. She was about to ask what it was that he wanted, and decided she didn't want to have that conversation so early in the morning. "I may put her on speed dials. She could tell me all sorts of things about you and tips to keep you focused instead of letting your brain run amok," she said, moving for the doorway. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Getting agreement without a discussion was so unexpected that Sammy nearly stopped him to feel his forehead for a fever. Instead she made coffee and turned on the television to watch the news. Before long she was curled up on the sofa and dozing with the drone of newscasters in the background. (Reply to this)(Parent)
