Checking on the home team
Commander Fontaine, Deputy Director of S.H.I.E.L.D., made the rounds when the special ops team came back in. After their last disastrous outing, she wanted to make sure they were still in one cohesive piece. The reports had been favorable.

She hadn't met the newest member yet, though she knew the contents of his file. She'd been the one to have it sent to Sammy for consideration. Her little gun nut, and Walker and Dugan, could always use someone with the ability to build a better gun.

Sammy's report had been terse but informative. The others' a little more informative. Landon was next on her list.

	"I hear the secret is drinking less coffee and making time to sleep more." The idea of 'or somethin' made her intensely curious what his genius brain could plot, and a very real concern that it would completely take her in. "And it's not muscling in if they're my pillows, but fret not. When next we share a bed, I shall have six pillows. Five for you and one for me. Then we shall see if you and Manifest Pillow Destiny conquer the bed from sheet to silken sheet." Jason promises.

"I have some preliminary ideas on determinin' if all you can do is stop time as well as maybe helpin' to increase the amount of time you can pause for and how big an area...but I need my lab to work 'em up." Jason says.

"If you could slow down or speed up time in addition to what you do now...it would make you even tougher to handle than you are now, I bet." Jason says.
