Zoey would have a lot to write about when she did her "What I Did This Summer" report when school started. First there had been two new arrivals to the Defenders with Andy and Eiltin. Three if you counted Titan, who Zoey liked to call Big Green. Next came finding George and taking care of him. That lead to an adventure into space and beating Galactus.

Now it was a trip to Boston. Zoey loved taking trips and flying on airplanes, especially to places she never been before. Boston was a city she hadn't been to before and when Mom asked if she wanted to go, Zoey immediately said yes. Daddy had said he would show her around and she would get to meet her grandparents. Zoey never had grandparents before and thought it would be neat to meet them and get to know them.

The only downside was that she couldn't take George. She left him in her room and George assured her that he would be able to get his own food and take care of himself. Zoey didn't like leaving him, but she had no choice. She packed her own suitcase and backpack. She took clothes and some books to read on the plane. Her iPod and Nintendo DS were also put in her backpack.

Zoey read on the plane and also took a nap. They were in Boston in what seemed a short while. She started out the window as they were landing. The city looked pretty from the air and there was a lot of water. It was the Atlantic Ocean. Zoey had looked at the atlas before she left.

They collected their luggage and Zoey walked with her dad out of the airport. Holding his hand as was the rule when around a large number of people.

	"I'm not. George keeps me company when they are out beating up the bad guys," Zoey said. "I am, but I like being home too. It's fun to play with the animals and George and do things with the Defenders. I played Sorry and Uno with Eiltin and Titan the other day." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"George didn't come. He's home in my room," Zoey said. "He doesn't like airplanes." "I won at Sorry and Eiltin won at Uno. Big Green, Titan, didn't win any of the games. He lost a lot of cookies." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Avery high-fives Zoey. "That's my girl!" he beams. "Good thing Big Green wasn't playing for money. He would have been a sad...Titan." Avery says. Soon enough, Claudette rides up to them in a golf cart and hands over a picnic basket of goodies and a blanket. She smiles at Zoey again and waves before driving off. 	Avery watches Zoey's expertise at handling the horse and wonders to himself if she might like to do events when she gets older. He reminds himself to talk to Sydney about it later. "So, any other questions for your old man?" he asks, spreading out the blanket for the two of them to sit on, before he sits down to get out the sandwiches for them. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Yes, we are going to do exactly that. I also want to show you Harvard, where I wen to school, and your grandfather and grandmother as well. In fact, they met at Harvard and fell in love. And this is another of those times that he wishes Sydney were here to help him answer questions. As much as she's putting him on the spot, Avery loves that his daughter is so direct and inquisitive.

"If you decide sorcery isn't for you, Small Lady, we should definitely talk about a career in law." Avery chuckles.

"It's really not that simple, though, Zoey. Mommy and I would have to do a lot of talking before we made a big decision like that, and we'd want to talk to you about it, too, because your thoughts and feelings are important to us." Avery says.

"So, that's something that we'll have to wait and see about, honey. I promise, though, if we decide anything like that, you'll be the first to know." he says.

	Zoey made a face. "What are we having? Will there be something I like?" she asked. Zoey wasn't normally picky, but she did like to know ahead of time what was for dinner. "Well, there will be cake this year. And no zombies or demons. Mommy and I took them off the invite list for this year." Avery tells her.

"By the way...let's not mention the zombies and demons to your grandmother or grandfather right away. They're kind of Muggles when it comes to magic and gods and stuff." Avery says, thinking to use a term Zoey will get immediately.
