How the West Was Won
A bright sun in a dull blue sky baked the earth below despite it being late October. The air didn't hold any moisture and dust was stirred up by the wind. The terrain was mostly flat and sparse of vegetation and about a mile west lay a silver-mining boomtown called Tombstone.

There was a bright flash of light about a mile outside of the town. Six very strangely dressed individuals and one white horse with wings suddenly appeared.

As they spoke, trouble was brewing not far from the OK Corral. The Earp brothers, Virgil, Wyatt and Morgan, along with Doc Holliday, who managed to pull himself away from the card table, found themselves facing off against the Cowboys. The Earps and Holliday were armed with armaments typical of the time period, but the Cowboys were on floating platforms and were armed with laser pistols. History was about to be rewritten,

Vernique had agreed that they should probably start heading over to check things out in that direction. Her stun-gun was out.

Iason eyes the situation even from some distance away. "I recognize some of the technology they're armed with. No question, Kang has been here. Hopefully he just armed these few."

Svalin drew her sword and sliced up the one side of her dress. She didn't need the thing tripping her up. It was bad enough that her leg was still healing and she didn't have full mobility.

"Hmm...I shall need to take shooting lessons when we return home. I find an archaic curiosity in the use of guns." Eli admits.

"However, I am ready to move when necessary." he tells the assembled.

"Svalin, I think it's best that you sit this one out," Charlie said, "Your leg isn't fully healed, and you don't want to slow the healing process."

"Yeah, looks like we'd need to save our oxygen there," Vernique says with a sigh. "And I hope the contamination hasn't gotten further, either, Iason. But it might be a safe bet. The Kangtech didn't get particularly far in any of the other time periods. It's all just....trouble, not organized."

"We had best hurry though. Judging by the way he is assessing the opposition, the man in black with the cards hidden up his sleeve is planning to try and make up for being outgunned by drawing first." he tells the others, watching Doc Holliday closely.

"Good point," Vernique says, picking up the pace. "We're lucky they're giving him the chance to consider it. I guess it's true what they say, the truly nasty'll put off murder the way others might put off a good cigar."

And time to hurry toward the fight.
