Double Date
Things had been hectic with the fall semester starting and Cait was getting used to being in school again after almost a year off. All the fuss over school left little time with Aaron. Cait was rectifying that tonight. Not another day was going to go by without the two of them going out and doing something.

Izzy had taken a like to Cassidy, so Cait decided to invite the two of them along after checking to make sure it was okay with Aaron. The four of them would go into the city and have some fun. They all deserved it.

Cait checked herself in the mirror one more time and then went to find Aaron.

	Cait ran down the stairs in the same way many of the younger students were told not to do. She smiled when she saw Aaron and when she reached him she wrapped her arms around him in a hug. There was a kiss to his cheek too. "Hi." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Cassidy checks his containment suit one more time, then his hair. He's got on blue jeans and a black long-sleeved shirt, but he wonders if he should change. More correctly, he wonders if he should be attempting this at all. What if he spazzed out and messed something up? Or worse?

He took a deep breath and let it out, trying to calm down. If he spent the rest of his life being afraid, he would never get better. He took another deep breath, let it out, then opened the door to his room and went to meet everyone.

He nods at Aaron and offers Cait a smile. "Hey, you two."

Of course, he sees Izzy and smiles even more brightly, but when he goes to say hello, he mouths the words, but no sound comes out. He tries again and there's still no sound.

"Oops." he mouths, realizing that he's managed to mute himself out of nervousness.

	Cassidy takes another (muted) deep breath and counts to ten. When he speaks again, his voice is back to normal. "Hi, Izzy. You look great." he says, reminding himself not to stare. He smiles at Cait and extends a hand to Aaron. "Nice to finally meet, you, Aaron. Heard a little about you. All good stuff, of course." he says. "So, who's ready for ice cream?" Cassidy hops in back and sits with his hands in his lap. This is the second trip he's ever been on where he wasn't being watched by people who could hurt him at a moment's notice. He'll look out the window at the landscape and all the sights that can be seen, since he's never been able to.

"All right, I know Izzy's favorite ice cream, but what about you, Cait and Aaron? I love Strawberry Cheesecake." Cassidy offers.

	"Science is really natural to me. I had a lot of help with it before I got to Xavier's." Cassidy says. Most of that help included daily lessons in torture by Doctor Millbury, but Cassidy tried not to focus on that. "We can study together sometime, if you want, Izzy.
