A Strange Quest
Quinn had been thinking about the leprechaun incident and had a feeling it wouldn't be the last time he saw the little annoy creatures. Quinn's magic hadn't been effective and he had to know what to do the next time they came around. Maybe there was a spell or something that would work against them and their magic.

Quinn had to go to the one person who would know about this kind of stuff.

He teleported to 177A Bleecker Street in New York only to find it empty. He wondered where Dr. Strange was.

There was one person who may know. Quinn teleported out to the West Coast and arrived at the front gate of the Defenders.

The Ritual

Lucas has prepared ritual circles, the largest encircles the other three, with room left over for the mages assisting with the ritual to sit. Lucas now sits crosslegged in one of the spots within the large circle.
Within this, three circles, drawn in his clay based paints slightly overlap, each one easily large enough for three men to stand within.
Within the central sphere, a quintet of stars is drawn in clay, arranged in a star-pattern themselves. In the center of the painted stars lies a short length of cut ivy crossed with a white feather to represent Omnipotent Oshtur, Lady of the Skies.
In the left-most is drawn a symbol similar to the ankh, with a flickering candle at the end of either arm and a third within the loop to draw the attention of All-Seeing Agamatto, the Light of Truth.
Within the rightmost circle is drawn an infinity symbol. Within either loop rests an hourglass turned on its side to call on the timeless Hoary Hoggoth, Lord of Hosts.

Lucas himself is adorned in clay paints bearing the symbols of the three and symbols of his own people for peace, insight and time. Even in the still room, a breeze shifts around him and ruffles his hair as air elementals, called first to help with the ritual and entreat the Lady of the Skies dance and whirl around the shaman. He's worked up quite the sweat already with the intense concentration of maintaining the ritual, at this for two hours already, chanting alternately in English and Cheyenne, entreating the attention of the Vishanti.

Quinn sat where Lucas had instructed him to sit and did what he had been instructed to do. Thankfully he had assisted Dr. Strange once or twice and knew what was involved.
