A Strange Quest
Quinn had been thinking about the leprechaun incident and had a feeling it wouldn't be the last time he saw the little annoy creatures. Quinn's magic hadn't been effective and he had to know what to do the next time they came around. Maybe there was a spell or something that would work against them and their magic.

Quinn had to go to the one person who would know about this kind of stuff.

He teleported to 177A Bleecker Street in New York only to find it empty. He wondered where Dr. Strange was.

There was one person who may know. Quinn teleported out to the West Coast and arrived at the front gate of the Defenders.

When the page appeared, Shelly didn't visibly react. She was already drawing into herself to put her heart and mind in the right planes for her to be able to reach out to the Loa, to ask them to work through her. Many familiar with general voodoo might expect a more visible spell--perhaps some chanting or the oft-joked about chicken blood, but Shelly never did straight voodoo. Even as voodoo was a different channel of magic than what most here knew and understood, Shelly had even a different channel to access voodoo with.

It would be really difficult for whom or whatever had the book to see her coming before she was there, to so to speak.

As she further and further went into her mental place, her poster softened and she bowed her head and for a moment it looked like she might pass out. Yet she didn't. She suddenly stood straight up and when her eyes opened...

...they were the eyes of the Loa. She was ready.
