Trouble in Genosha
Paris and Carmella had gotten to bed late, after some extra time and work and much interest and speculation on the whole Latverian Thing. But going to bed late normally never prevented them from getting up early.

This morning, it didn't happen. The sun was starting to climb high by the time Carmella groggily stirred, barely able to open her eyes.

"Good." There's audible relief. Then she srarts reporting exactly how the meetings went. The French don't seem to know what to say at all, the Scandinavians are willing to support them, but aside from the obvious condemning of Latveria's attacks and general sticking up for Genosha's defensive actions in the U.N. and diplomatic channels, don't have any particular ideas on strategy to deal with the situation.

She won't ask about Father and his grandfather yet.

A pause. "There was someone trying to bother me with a camera and a concealed weapon, and I didn't even hit him," she says, divided three ways between informing, complaining, and bragging. "Aren't you proud of me, mon ange?" she asks wryly.

"Very proud, mon coeur." He agrees readily. "Call the French ambassador back, let them know that the initial attack has been repelled without extending past our borders. We do not require any military support, we just ask them to join us in condemning Latveria's attack. That should tie Russia and the eastern bloc up in talks for a few days. I didn't expect them to do anything... but they're very good at making sure no one else does anything either. Tell the Scandanavians that we do not require military support, but we are offering to send food and medical supplies to Wakanda and Symkaria, and would appreciate it if they would handle the transfer... creates an image of solidarity, while anyone who would accuse us of smuggling or ulterior motives would be attacking Norway, Finland and Sweden's credentials."
He hates talking to her so much about business, but there's a lot to do, and little time. This could turn into a disaster so easily... but if he plays this right, its an opportunity.

The French delegation a lot more secure that the initial situation could be handled without total disaster and promises to contact Andrew soon. When she's done with all of them, she'll call Angelo. 	There's a click from his end of the line, and then a loud thud as Angelo appears in the living room, arms spread as he rebalances himself. He looks more than a little worn. He hasn't made this many intercontinental jumps in one day in quite a while. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Angelo turns the glass slowly in his hands before taking another sip. "Do.. do you think... I mean, there's been no body, but..." He can't quite form the question.
