Trouble in Genosha
Paris and Carmella had gotten to bed late, after some extra time and work and much interest and speculation on the whole Latverian Thing. But going to bed late normally never prevented them from getting up early.

This morning, it didn't happen. The sun was starting to climb high by the time Carmella groggily stirred, barely able to open her eyes.

	Angelo was busying himself around the house, vacuuming while a cup of coffee and brioche sat on the table, covered with a cloth. Mother and Father had gotten in unusually late, so it wasn't doing anything to alleviate his concerns over the incidents he saw on the news. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	Carmella Unuscione Bennet is not a particularly calm woman by nature. So the way she shouts "ANGELO!" with particular concern as she drags herself into the doorway would not be atypical -- except that she's dragging herself there. 	Angelo doesn't bat an eye at the shout, but practically doubles back at the sight of his mother as such, dropping the vacuum and moving to help her up. "I... I haven't seen him. Carmella leans on her son a little and focuses, practically shouting at the top of her mind, with no response. She'll appreciate his help getting somewhere she can sit down, still so groggy. She picks up the telephone.

"Unuscione here. I need -- no. He's not. Joanna, slow down." Shock spreads further across her face as she listens.

"All right, get the Kleinstocks on that, but don't let them try to take charge. Lorna? ... Make sure Turner and Leblanc stay with her, but....this is no time for geologists. I'll be there when I can... I think I've been drugged."

She hangs up the phone and looks at Angelo. "Magneto is missing. They both are. We need.... Andrew. You need to get Andrew and your sister in New York."

"Yes ma'am." Angelo nods again, trying to see that she's as comfortable as reasonably possible before taking a few steps back.

"I won't let you and Father down." He says crisply, half a heartbeat before his eyes dilate wide, and he simply vanishes.

His landing outside Giovanna's door isn't exactly worthy of Olympic gold, but he doesn't break or sprain anything. The perils of intercontinental teleportation without any change in orientation. There's sweat across his brow, but he collects himself as quickly as he can manage.

He knocks three times. "Giovanna."

He knocks three times again. "Giovanna."

He knocks another three times. "SISTER."

	Giovanna figured she could trust him to keep a poker face, and she felt he was entitled to know there was trouble. "We're getting by all right just now, but I'll let you know if you can, thank you.
