Introductions (Nicolai, eventually Melissa and Kelly)
Definitely needed to distract Nicolai before they all went mad on the news. Until he got clearance to go home, they needed something to get their minds off of This.

So she came in carrying the file someone else had just prepared. "They finished the background check on my sister's girlfriend. And...there's a little insight into her Upsetting Family Issues, at least. She's the orphan of criminals."

There was a bit of a scramble for the phone, initially - which has developed here and there since Melissa first discovered Kelly's randomness extends to how she answers the phone... sometimes not making the best of impressions. This time, Melissa won, so instead of "Madame Natasha's House of Whores, 3.99 a minute, talk dirty to me." she has to settle for simple curiosity.

"Who is it, baby?"

"Well, Hello Nurse!" Melissa says aloud as she looks to Kelly and mouths 'Bea'. "Good to hear from you."

Melissa adjusts her position so that Kelly can get closer and listen to the phone as well, semi-glad she beat Kelly to the punch on this one. She could just imagine Bea's face if one of Kelly's random greetings had made it across the line.

"Is this business or personal?" she asks.

	Spared the sororal brainbreakage for once, Bea just makes a minorly politely amused sound at the Hello Nurse and continues. "Business. Nicolai's interested in meeting the two of you. "We're good to meet whenever, but I just need to know where we're goin' and how soon you can meet with us. I'd need an exact location, though, because we can be there as soon as you hang up." Melissa says, silently giving the Kelly the signal for 'arm-up, get ready to port-out'.

"And is your boss lookin' for a comprehensive idea of how we work or just a little test drive. Just trying to figure out if we need to bring Lucille." Melissa says.

	"She says she loves you and that she can't wait to see you...basically." Melissa grins, imagining the look on Bea's face right now. Yes, it was just as funny in her mind as it would be in person. "Good. We'll be there shortly. We'll also be the only two knocking." she says, and hangs up.

She smiles at Kelly. "Oh yes, baby. Total Stigmata night. If you're a good girl, I'll even break out the salt and tequila for body shots while we work."

Melissa recites a phrase and her clothing morphs into her skin-tight operations suit. She goes to the closet and pulls her cloak and hood off the hanger, draping it about her shoulers.

"You ready?"

	Hood laughs at the joke, then says says her incantation and smiles. The pair vanish and reappear in alley in front of the door to the location Bea gave. Red eyes peer at Bea from the shadows of the cowl. "Good to see you, SweetBea. You look even hotter than last time." Hood says in that otherworldly voice. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Kelly stays next to Melissa, aka her edit button. Thankfully, this is something she really wants for her girlfriend, and Kelly is, despite some reports, capable of being professional when it comes to job details. "Hello, Mr. Nicolai." Melissa says, entering the room and taking the offered seat.

"Bea's done a great job of representing your organization so far. Kelly and I like what we've heard already, so we wanted to see what you're about. It's good to meet you." Melissa says, keeping her tone civil and professional.

"Bea mentioned that you're having a rough time nowadays. Anything to do with the city or something else?" she asks, though she could guess, she'd rather have him confirm it for himself.

Kelly takes a seat... on Melissa's lap. So much for totally professional. Oh well, anyone who is going to hire them should be aware they're not going to be normal.

"Guessing that'd be the political situation in Symaria, baby. Which would be part of why they'd be looking for some spare firepower and extra bullet shields... which, of course, check and check. What's more surprising is that he's here, given the circumstances."
