One Way Ticket Out of Here
Irina and Lyta returned to the Champions headquarters and informed the other members about running into the visitor from the other dimension and that the bad Avengers were here and on the loose. It took a little bit of time to explain it all, but by the time they were finished their guests had arrived.

They were shown in and they all gathered in what was once the main room of the nightclub.

	Jack had no idea who this guy was, or how he'd know who Jack was. Looks like the Avengers hadn't come through alone. There were extras in the mix. "Did you know you're on fire?" he asked, looking around the dark alley for escape options. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Yeah...not doing this. Jack looked up to see wrought iron over his head. He made the leap, grabbed and swung himself up on a balcony. A second later he was making the leap for the roof. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Jack glanced back in time to see Flamehead and the bike come over side of the building and took off at a run across the rooftops. His skills at urban gymnastics should have been his edge, but the engine roar told him that he wasn't shaking his tail. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The rider has his 'scent', following the trail over the rooftops, jumping from one building to another, trailing flame all the way. 	The chain materializes and the rider focuses his eyes on Jack. "Not my concern, but they're being dealt with. Because you're not from this world... not for this hell, you get one chance to go home the easy way. Otherwise, wherever you go, I can follow. Trust me... but feel free to run." 	Jack landed hard and smacked his head. He was too woozy to jump to his feet, but he rolled for the nearest doorway to take cover while he shook it off. The roar of the bike is worse than the flames. He didn't care much for the role of prey. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	It takes a moment for Nick to realize where Jack ducked off to, but not long. He turns about, guiding the bike past the doorway while he reaches out with one hand, trying to snag Jack as he goes past. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Jack shook the worst of it off and got to his feet just as Nick rides by with a hand out. Taking a chance that gravity was optional for the bike and not the rider, he leaped to grab Nick and drag him off. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Jack is absolutely right, Nick is dragged off the bike, and hits the ground hard. Still, he's had worse, and in turn, he hopes that Jack hadn't realized how strong the Rider would be. He tries to keep hold, doing his best to drag Jack closer, attempting to meet his gaze even briefly. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Nick is recovering his feet, his grip like iron. "You had a chance as long as you kept moving. But now you let me get a hold of you. One. Last. Chance. And that, only becaue you're not from this world... and hell might not want you... but I'm perfectly willing to send you and let the devil sort it out if you insist... do I call my friend and toss you back to crawl into your little hole, or do we finish this right here, and no one ever hears from you again?"

	Damn, not the answer he wanted at all. Ah well. Nick's hand heats up with hellfire while he calls Irina. He may not be able to condemn this one, much as his soul sight says he demands it - but he also doesn't need to leave him unharmed and unmarked. "If you ever return here, you're done. I promise you."
