One Way Ticket Out of Here
Irina and Lyta returned to the Champions headquarters and informed the other members about running into the visitor from the other dimension and that the bad Avengers were here and on the loose. It took a little bit of time to explain it all, but by the time they were finished their guests had arrived.

They were shown in and they all gathered in what was once the main room of the nightclub.

"Honor is for chumps." Kevin says, throwing the sai at the blond across the street.

It impales the woman easily and pins her to the wall like a Hallmark butterfly.

"Choice time, Hero. I saw a hospital about six blocks from here, but that lady over there is...ooh, bleeding like a sieve. You and Nat-Pack could stay and beat me round about the head and shoulders, but that woman is going to bleed to death while you do it." Kevin says, his hammer glowing as he catches it.

"Time for the lightning round." he grins, the roars and charges at Argo.

He wasn't going to do something fair like let /them/ choose.

In all his time on Earth, Argo had always had to restrain himself, to hold back his great strength in a world of cardboard. His was a might that rivaled that of his beloved father, a might which could crack mountains in half.

And he had only once before been even close to approaching this level of angry.

He might kill Kevin. He doesn't care. For base cowards like him, death is too good.

Rage blinding him, he intercepted Kevin's charge and threw a punch with his full and complete strength behind it.

Kevin Masterson has been hit hard in his life. His mother, Thrynn, others have hit him and it hurt, but it wasn't anything he couldn't get up and walk away from. Most times, he gave as good as he got and won. It was never enough to impress /her/, but he did the best he could every time he went out.

Argo still manages to hit him harder than anyone ever has.

Kevin goes through the portal against his will, angry and resentful that he won't get to kill the Greek for this insult. Somehow, someday, he'll make him pay for this.

Even if he has to break down the gates of Olympus himself to get to him.
