There was a flash of light amidst the explosions and the loud sound of gunfire. The Avengers arrived in what was literally a war zone.

Tanks rolled across the land and fired with resounding booms and soldiers exchanged gunfire from trenches on both sides. There was a loud shout and a man in red, white and blue led a small group of brightly costumed people across the battlefield.

On the other side a man with a purple hood watched the battle and next to him was a man with a monocle.

	Iason closes in. If this is at all like the others, it should be easy enough. Then he gets tagged by one of the blasts, not having been too concerned for dodging, and gets sent flying hard. 	Namor offers Iason a hand and will pull him to his feet if he accepts. "Very well. We'll need to go about this differently." Namor says, looking for something to throw. 	Svalin on Tryggvi came in from behind. She swung her sword at the thing's head, but the glass-looking dome was strong enough to withstand the blow from an Asgardian wielding Asgardian steel. "Now this ist a challenge," she said as Tryggvi swooped around. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Iason fires eye beams back at the thing, steadying himself to take the next shot without giving too much way. "I believe Kang may be using more sophisticated weaponry as we get closer to him... though I have heard that these machines were formidable, even without his interference." 	Namor watches the robot lumber forward, noting its durability and trying to formulate a new idea to destroy it. "Iason, I'm going to try to take out its legs!" Namor says, noting that Iason is already drawing the robots fire. Namor flies in, getting behind the robot, then doubles back and tries to take out one of its knees. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Svalin saw what Namor was doing. It was a good strategy. "Aye! Attack the joints!" Svalin steered Tryggvi toward the robot, aiming her sword for a shoulder joint. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The robot was focused on Iason and continued to try to blast him into smithereens. Svalin's sword point managed to slip between the metal plates of the shoulder joint and the arm started to move a little erratically. Namor's blow to the right need made the robot miss a step or two, but the thing kept moving. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Namor flies away from the robot then doubles back, trying to get a good head of steam going again as he comes back in. Once again, he attacks the robot's knees, trying to slow it or knock it down so that Svalin and Iason could finish it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Iason keeps giving ground under the thing's firepower, the wounds becoming evident, but he continues to absorb what of the energy he can, channeling everything he can to durability, continuing to blast away, alternating concussive force and heat blasts. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The integrity of the robot's metal plating was beginning to weaken under Iason's attacks. It was starting to turn red from the heat. The robot stopped walking, noticing that someone was attacking its knees. It lowered its hand and fired down at the man. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Namor catches the sword in mid-flight and slashes at the robot's knees, just as the robot's fire finally catches him unprepared. He slams into the ground, rolling along in the dirt as Svalin's sword slips from his hands. He tries to get up, but the blast was dead on and has him seeing stars at the moment. Iason sees this, and sees what they were trying to do. He rushes fforward, taking a blast meant for Namor. It hurts, but he holds his ground. Raw heat doesn't bother him much.

Picking up where the others left off, he lifts Svalin's sword - then eye beams it until the metal glows white hot, not at all worried about melting Asgardian steel.

As soon as the sword is glowing hot, he swings for the exposed knee joint.

	Svalin circled Tryggvi around to the front of the robot. Hopefully they would take its attention away from the two men on the ground. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The white hot sword sliced into the joint. There was a second pause before the robot tried to take a step. It wobbled for a second and then fell forward. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Iason sees it falling towards him. Left to his own devices, he'd dodge, but Namor is in the way. He raises his hands, catching hold, trying to find a good grip, holding up the weight of the massive construct. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Namor is still shaking out the cobwebs, but he's now cognizant of the danger that he and Iason are in. Rising slowly to his feet, he adds his strength to Iason's, holding the behemoth aloft so that it doesn't crush them. "Shall we return this to Zemo and his people?" Namor suggests. 	Svalin swooped in on Tryggvi. The horse turned at the last second so Svalin could put a shoulder into the robot. The fall stopped and the robot was now just leaning over supported by Iason, Svalin and Namor. "Aye! Return this robot to its owner." (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Indeed." Iason agreed, beginning to lift off the ground, now that he had help. "I will need a good deal of rest and time to recharge after this, but well worth the effort." he stated, working part of the robot's weight off the ground. "Shall we deliver it to them personally?"
