Dark Reflections pt 2
Not too far from where the battle between the Avengers and the Exiles took place, another group of travelers arrived. They received instructions on what they needed to do, much like the Exiles in that regard. The instructions were simple. Find and defeat a group of dimensional travelers before they could complete their mission.

The small team took cover and waited.

It wasn't long before a flash of white light appeared and a small group of six Avengers appeared.

Eli doesn't know how the others are faring, but this has to stop now before someone gets killed. This time, he reaches into the woman's mind none too gently and forces her to obey him.

"Call your people off /now/. If any of my friends are hurt because of them, I will be extremely angry." Eli says.

Lady Mandarin poured all her concentration into the mento-intensifier ring and tried to turn his mental energies back on him.

"NO!" she screamed.

Eli has never felt his power turned back upon him before, so when Lady Mandarin does so, it's a shock to his system unlike anything he's ever experienced. He falls to his knees, clutching his head as an agonized scream issues from his mouth.

He's trying to turn down the assault on his mind, but he can't concentrate long enough to do that.

You have become weak, Eliosha. his father's voice says from somewhere nearby.

You are being beaten by a /human/ of all things. This is pathetic, even for you. If you were not your mother's son, I would have exiled you long ago, but your leaving like a thief in the night is exile enough.

Do not return to Polaria, even if you should come back to our dimension. There is no place for you in my home.
