Dark Reflections: Battle In New York
Morning came to New York and with it a brisk wind making it seem colder than it was. The weak winter sun did little to warm things up and a layer of frost covered cars and other objects left out in the cold winter air over night. The city that never slept was becoming more alive with activity as her residents started their daily routines.

High above the city the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier flew, keeping an eye on the city below.

It seemed like any other winter's morning in New York, but today would prove to be far from ordinary.

Nick kept moving and was throwing punches left and right. The agents didn't seem to enthusiastic about attacking their old commander.

After his throw Ryan rushes into the fight throwing punches and kicks.

The agents on the edges pulled out weapons and started firing at Ryan and Nick. The ones in front of Ryan took a hit or two and threw their own punches and kicks.

Nick kept punching and kicking agents, even tossing one against a console. The Helicarrier lurched a bit.

Ryan throws some more crescent darts to disarm the agents firing at him while trying to stay ahead of the gun fire. He threw a kick at the Agent attacking him as he moved by him he had landed a blow or two on him but wasn’t really hurt.

The weapons were knocked out of hands and the agents clutched their hand where the darts struck.

A few fell away from Ryan as he landed punches and kicks on them.

Nick threw another agent into a control panel and the Helicarrier lurched again.

Ryan really got on a roll in his fighting with lots of punches and kicks well aimed at the Agents around him. From the edge of his perception notices what happening with Fury, the control panel, and the Helicarrier. "I guess we know what to use to crash this if we need too."

A few agents ran for the exit, but a few others stayed and continued to fight.

Two agents went down from kicks to the head.

“Then stop hitting people into the thing that’s controlling the ship and keeping up airborne,” Ryan says with a couple acrobatic kicks at some agents, “Because it’s a long way down.”

Ryan's kicks connected and the agents went down to the ground. Two more rushed toward him.

Ryan wait for one to get close and grabs him throwing him with a judo throw into the other agent.

The agents get tossed. The Helicarrier lurched and started going down. Not because of the agents, but because of the fight outside.

“I blame you for this,” Ryan shouted vaulting over some agents to get to the controls and see if he could do anything to slow this crash down so he didn’t die.

"Get off this boat ya damn yahoos!" Nick yelled at the agents. He ran to the controls while most ran for the exit.

Ryan got to the controls first and started pressing buttons to open up drags and thrusts to go against the direction they were crashing. From there he would work and crashing the helicarrier someplace where it would cause as much damage.

Nick was next to Ryan at the controls. The 'Carrier was going to go down. Nothing they could do would stop it, but maybe they could get it somewhere where it won't kill civilians.

"Try t' steer her toward the East River," Nick said as he wrestled with the controls.
