Christmas. Yule. Saturnalia. Dies Natalis Solis Invicti. Many cultures have celebrated and still celebrate a winter festival. There have been many names for it over the millennia. No matter the name it is a time to come together and celebrate with feasts and gifts with friends and loved ones.

Each culture has a legendary figure who would deliver gifts to children during this time. In Russia and some Slavic cultures he is known as Ded Moroz, Grandfather Frost, and comes not on Christmas but on New Year’s along with his granddaughter Snegurochka, or ‘”Snow Maiden”. In the United Kingdom and other parts of Europe he is known as Father Christmas. In the Netherlands and Belgium he is known as Saint Nicholas or “Sinterklaas” and in France he is known as Père Noël. In the United States we know him as Santa Claus.

No matter the name or who is delivering gifts, it is the season of peace, joy and togetherness. It is the season for thinking about loved ones, friends and those less fortunate. It is a time to witness the goodness and generosity the human race is capable of. It is a time for peace on Earth and goodwill toward man.

Quinn loved Christmas. More to the point, he loved mistletoe. He had enchanted a sprig of it and it was hovering over his head. Oh yes. This was going to be fun.

First though, he put all his gifts to his teammates under the tree. For Tamara and Jenny he got each a two hundred dollar gift card to Harrod's. For Casey he got two cases of various microbrews. For Dmitri he got four bottles of different kinds of vodka. Joe got two cases of different micro-brews as well. Leech and Artie were the two hard ones to shop for. He gave them each a two hundred dollar gift certificate to Amazon.

After presents were delivered he went looking for his teammates with the mistletoe floating over his head.

	Casey loved Christmas it was an over two week one celebration back home with a lot of fun and drinking. He had gotten Quinn, Dmitri, and Joe some beer and a good bottle of Whiskey. He had gotten Leech a large gift card to a local book store. Tamara and Jenny had gotten some earring he had picked up in a trip to Galway. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	“I told them when I went to visit them in October before Samhain,” Casey says, “Da gave me a look but took it in stride and said I had to tell ma and he wasn’t going ta be there for it. 	Joe had gotten Quinn to zap him stateside for the holidays with his folks and his friends and family back at Xaiver's, but he'd also left presents--modest gift cards to the local hardware store coupled with the promise to work on whatever project they needed help on--before he left. Missing Christmas Day with her team had not been in her plans, but a chance to spend the holidays with Andy was too good to pass up. Rob was skiing with friends for the holidays so he wouldn't miss her.

She made sure to leave gifts for them. Quinn and Casey received cases of beer and stout as well as a few business cards from estate agents if they were serious about investing in their own pub.

Leech and Arthur were given gift vouchers to the bookstore she worked at, as well as her employee discount for their trip. She'd made sure the owner would allow it and got his agreement in writing, reminding him ruthlessly of all the extra shifts she'd worked so he wouldn't have to take on new staff before the holidays.

Tamara received a gift voucher to Beyond Retro, a clothing store Jenny thought she might like to try out.

Dmitri was the hard one as Jenny hadn't really talked to him much. She finally settled on a gift voucher to the mens store where Rob bought his clothes.
