New Year's Battle Over New York
The New Year was a time for sending out the old year and ringing in the new. It was always a time of partying and celebrating. This year it was time for a battle. The time and dimensionally displaced Avengers along with their possible future kids got ready for a battle with Kang and his forces.

The sun was just coming up over the city and on the new year.

Kang returned fire as best as he could, but there were too many of them all at once. His force shields held long enough to block the sword blow from the Asgardian and a blow sent her flying back.

The shield faltered and Kang was hit by energy blasts from the Eternal. The shield came flying in and he raised an arm to deflect it. He didn't see the invisible discs coming and was hit twice, making him stumble backward. The other Eternal wrapped metal around him and Kang started to move to free himself of it.

The energy from the staff hit him and he stepped backwards. Then came the shots from the energy pistols.

"You will never win," he said and then fell into a portal that opened beneath him.
