Let Loose the Dogs of War!
Plans had been made, maps studied, the situation read as best it could be. There was no more time for talk. The Mothership would be leaving by the next day. If the aliens who had stolen this world were not defeated now, it wasn't likely they ever would be.

But these aliens had never faced people with the kinds of powers that the Avengers possessed. The paltry number of defenders the planet Earth had had when they had arrived had died easily. And this world possessed no Inhumans, no Eternals, no Deviants. No one would or could fight back on the scale needed.

But the time of domination was over.

	The Malacandran guards go down quickly under the combined disorientation caused by Luna's powers and the swiftness of War Machine's assault. With Akilah leading the way, the rebellion troops made their way inside. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Akilah took the moment to whisper a spell of vitality for Luna. Luna's power made it marginally easier to dispatch the enemy, so they needed her to be at her peak, or as close to it as possible. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Morgan leads the Avengers and his team quickly, bringing them to a halt. "Prison cells are down that way," he gestures. "And out there..."

Though a gap in the wall, the arena can be seen. A handful of humans, given what might laughably called "weapons", were squaring off against alien beasts. All around, like some ancient Colosseum, Malacandrans were watching and cheering, calling for blood.

"Yeah, you guys might handle the prison cells. I just saw a problem or two I need to deal with." War Machine says, punching through the wall.

He steps out into the arena and looks for the people in the box seats, the ones who probably set this slaughter up. He targets them and fires another pair of repulsor blasts in their direction.

"What? Are you not entertained?" War Machine asks, kicking on his thrusters to aid the embattled humans.

	Luna nearly snarled when she saw the arena. And she wasn't one to snarl, normally. She turned attention to the Malacadrans. Silent, she unleashed all of her anger and rage on the Malacadrans and the guards in the arena. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Most of the guards and spectators were hit hard by the emotional bust, feeling from Luna's mind-mojo. Meanwhile, a large animal, like some kind of cross between a bear and a wolf, tried to take a chunk of out of Justin. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	War Machine is bitten by the creature, but the armor holds as it tries to make its chunk a much bigger bite. Justin grimaces inside the armor aims his machine gun at the creature's face. The gun barrel erupts in a hail of fire at the creature as War Machine tries to pull away. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

The creature War Machine fired on practically exploded under his firepower, while the others reacted with varying degrees of pain and confusion to Luna's power.

The prisoners who had been forced to battle the creatures were taking the battle to the guards and spectators now, years of pent up rage being set free.

Deeper within, Colonel Morgan and his troops freed the remaining prisoners.

	Akilah had been working her way around and taking down guards with relative ease. She wondered how anyone could have been enslaved by these creatures. Surely, Wakanda could not have fallen in this world. (Reply to this)(Parent)
