What Happens in Vegas, Doesn't Stay in Vegas
Valentine's Day had been busy to say the least. Getting married in Vegas and the flying back to New York for the charity auction left little time to tell the parents that Anya and Steve got married. So the solution was to invite them all to dinner on the fifteenth and break the news to them that way.

Anya made reservations at The Capital Grille for a private room and then sent invites to her parents and Steve's parents. Privacy was needed because she wasn't quite sure what the reactions would be.

Anya put on a simple black dress, heels and did her hair. She arrived with Steve and were shown to the private room and their table. She held his hand while they waited for the parents to arrive.

	"I was going to tell you before Anya sprung dinner on us, and this." Tony says. He then relates everything that Fury told him just the other day, and that Steve knows as well. 	"Honey, I've been trying to get her to come home since she left. I don't think she'll suddenly change her mind unless Steve convinces her." Tony says. And suddenly his eyes light up. 	Natasha shook her head. "You're unbelievable. She's not going to come home, even for Steve." She kissed him. "As for the marriage, I'm not surprised. "Would you have rather have her be like her parents and wait too long?" she asked. In some way Tasha and Tony had always loved each other, they had just been consummate idiots when it came to affairs of the heart. Thankfully they had grown up, grown a little wiser and did something about their feelings for each other before it was was too late.

"She'll always be your little girl, but she's an adult now. She has a husband who is madly in love with her and will always protect her."

She kissed him.

"In a few years we'll have grandbabies to bounce on our knees and spoil rotten."

"At the end of the day, that's what I want most for her. If she's happy and safe, I can't ask for more than that and get it." Tony says, sighing a little.

"All right, I'm going to in there, give this my blessing, and enjoy the rest of dinner. In the morning, we call the rest of the kids and make sure none of them plan to get married in the near future.

Which means I'll have to conference call Clint so we can talk about Stephanie." Tony says.

A thought comes into Tony's head.

"You don't think Anya's pregnant right now, do you?" he asks.

	Natasha kissed him. "Smart man." "Just wear body armor or something. The last thing I need is you and Clint beating the crap out of each other." Natasha shook her head. "No, I don't. "Grandchildren /do/ sound like fun. Teaching them to build car engines and armor and all kinds of fun gadgets is going to be a lot of fun." he grins.

"But I'm gonna need some Super Soldier Serum or the Infinity Formula to keep up with grandkids. Grandkids that will be only slightly younger than Eddie.

Definitely going to need some Walker-Armor." Tony smiles, walking his wife back inside.

	"Oh, what is the world coming to..." Tony says, then stops mid-sentence. Clint still didn't know about Stephanie. Tony's smile broadens considerably. "This marriage is officially blessed. I get to one-up Clint Barton." Tony smiles, guiding Tasha along quickly. "Come on and get your camera phone out. I want a picture of his face when I tell him." Tony grins. (Reply to this)(Parent)
