More Bloodsuckers in Washington
It had taken them some time to reestablish themselves back in Washington DC to influence the politics of the country but for a Vampire it hadn’t taken to long at all. They were start off slow gaining control over up and coming politicians that might someday make it big and be very nice to have in their pockets.

They had set up a cover as lobbyists, which worked as a great cover to get close to and talk to the politicians that they had in mind. They already had being building influence in several very promising politicians thru varies means and had even managed to get some of their human followers in on the staff of some of the ones that they thought had the most promise.

So far they had managed to staff of the radar of anyone who might be about to interfere with their plans here and had already dealt with some people who had caused some problems for them in a very permanent way.

Founding Father's Bar

The Founding Father's bar is a popular spot for political interns to come and unwind after long days of being order around all day.

One of the big things that goes on is the interns exchanging stories about the annoying stuff that they have had to do or deal with that day. It is a rather good place to find out whats really going on behind the scenes in Washington DC if you know what to do to get the information you need.

Greg wasn't one for museums, even though his mother had tried to get a little culture in him. Instead he found a bar and grabbed a barstool.

Bram had heard rumors about vampires in Washington DC that were up to something. There were rumors like that that he had heard about back when he was little before the Montesi Formula destroyed all the vampires.

Given all the stuff that had been going on back then no one he knew of had had time to really look into it but he was going to do that now.

Loose lips sink ships which is exactly why he was checking out this bar for a little bit of background information to see if he could find anything out.

Greg sat at the bar and continued to drink. He was aware of the conversations around him, but most of it was dull political talk.

Yep it had been a lot of mind numbing political talk that he really didn’t care about and since he wasn’t even from this country it really didn’t affect him too much. Even a bit of drinking didn’t really make it more interesting.

But something caught his ear an intern complaining about how he was always having to work late for his boss because one of the people he met with often would never schedule a meeting when the sun was out.

Greg caught that last bit and it caught his interest. He slid off the barstool and worked his way closer.

Bram made his way over and closer to them too. Taking a seat at a table next to them with his drink. He was going to wait to see how much more information they spilled like this on their own before doing anything more direct.

Greg pretended to be with a group of interns and listened to the conversation. Something was rotten in DC and it wasn't just the politicians.

The Smithsonian of American History

The museum was have a gala event for their new exhibit showcasing some of the famous classic American cars they had in their collection.

Many of Washington's Elite were at the event talking and rubbing elbows being seen with each other at a charity event for a museum. There was of course a lot of gossiping and information trading going on in the background.

Mr. Trump thought it would a good idea for Eli to get out and experience a bit more of America, and suggested that he go Washington D.C. and enjoy the gala.

So Eli attended the gala and tried to understand the human fascination with cars.

Amanda was here for only one reason.

Edsels were so /cuute/. She missed them. And there it was, a 1958 Edsel. She was so busy smiling that she bumped into a young man.

Eli wasn't watching where he was going, so bumping into the woman actually surprised him a bit, and blushed in embarrassment.

"I am very sorry, Miss. Please forgive my carelessness. Are you all right?" Eli asks, remembering for once not to speak in Russian automatically.

"Not your fault at all, young man. And I'm fine. I was just a bit distracted." She gestures at the Edsel. "You're probably too young to know much about these, but aren't they the most adorable ugly things?"

"You are correct, Miss. I know very little about cars, personally, and these in particular. But...there's something appealing about the ugliness, after a fashion.

Granted, it's a long fashion, but it is there." he chuckles.

"My name is Eli Paravich." he says, offering a hand.

She shakes his hand delicately but warmly. "Amanda Mirandola. And this, Eli Paravich, is a 1958 Ford Edsel, a name synonymous with failure in this lovely little country. As I understand, it was all because of bad business decisions, really, not their sweet little ugliness, but the point was, they didn't make any money, so they had to go." She sounds a little wistful.

"You seem to know a great deal about cars, Miss Mirandola. Perhaps you would care to teach me a bit more about the cars I am looking at? I admit to knowing next to nothing about them, as I...have little use for cars in general." Eli says with a smile.

"I suppose that I can understand not making more if people are not buying them, but I would take one of these over most of the cars I see on the road today. There are a few that make me wonder exactly what someone was thinking when they designed them." he says.

Office of Representative Elesh Norn

The office was not the hub of activity that it had been earlier in the day but there was were still people busy at work.

An exhausted secretary was seated behind a large desk in the back of the small waiting from for the junior representative of Illinois.

And there was something about the junior representative that just wreaked of magical energy, at least that was what Jessica had picked up on when she met him last week. And not the good kind of magical energy, from what she'd sensed.

She could have called that Matt Walker guy that she met several months back, but Jessica decided to take matters into her own hands. She made her way to the office of Representative Norn.

"Healthy Blood Coalition? What are they working to increase donations to the American Red Cross or something?" She couldn't say that she was familiar with them. Though the mention of blood and meeting at night did sound highly suspicious.

And for some reason, she sincerly doubted that they were involved with the Red Cross.
