Putting Things Into Motion
Mikel Fury had decided that it was about time to implement his plans for his father. His sister, willingly or unwillingly, would be key to those plans. The past few months' worth of work were coming to a head and this moment.

He sent a text to his sister and asked her to meet him at Brasil Coffee House on Lexington Ave. It was quiet and not busy at this time of the day. It would be perfect for what he had in mind.

Mikel sat a small table with Virgo and waited for his sister. Not far from them, Gemini, Grigory Genovese, and Leo sat drinking a cup of coffee. It always paid to have backup.

	Another tense moment that passed more quickly than the last. She hardly felt any dizziness now. "And I still manage to survive anyway. 	Cue smile. She was lucky to have a brother willing to work around her schedule even when he was teasing her about it. He was never more than a phone call away if she needed him and he was away 'on business' "I appreciate it. 	"I'm your only little sister and you're acting like you're my father." She meant it as a tease at the differences in their ages; Mikel could very well pass as her father. "Only if you can take what I'll dish out when you do. Qamar is a lot more understanding about my schedule than a lot of guys would be." Boyfriend might not be the accurate term for Qamar, but Sammy liked spending time with him. She adored Mikel, but there had to be a limit. It wasn't like she couldn't take care of herself in the highly unlikely event that Qamar became dangerous.

"Maybe you can, and maybe you can't." She gave him a cool look that was on the verge of laughing. "He's working on a set of toys for me. You might get a charge out of them."

The muffin was almost gone, as well as the coffee. She felt a lot better. There would have to be some changes in her schedule to allow time for regular meals. It was stupid to let herself get rundown and vulnerable. "I'll ask him to join us one night. His class schedule will be as bad as mine so dinner might end up being an early lunch or breakfast after midnight."
