When visiting Mom it was best not to go empty handed. A box of her favorite truffles worked pretty well. He made sure to stop and get some before he went into S.H.I.E.L.D. Medical. As worried as she was about Stark, she might not notice it wasn't her favorite vodka.

He knocked on the room door and waited for admittance.

	"It's college. They expect students to dress in jeans and tee shirts." It was an old discussion. Misha was definitely his father's son. There was not a fussy bone in his body. "It's something to look forward to, right?" As weird as things could get in their world, Mom alive in a century was in the realm of possibility. If not, Dad would still be around to give him hell for them both.

"The embassy hasn't been too bad. Mikhail must be doing a good job back in Moscow because they're not on my case so much about dating their handpicked royals."
