After dropping Andy off at Excalibur, Marlow sent herself to pub she'd heard about. She didn't know if Quinn or his friend would be there, but it seemed like a neighborly thing to do when in England.

She appeared in a corner and looked around to see if anyone noticed before making her way to the bar. She sat herself down and turned a smile on the person behind it. "Do you have mead?"

"It's good to see you again. I heard about your new place and it sounded like fun to visit, so here I am!" She drank more mead. "We've been busy in LA. Svalin got married and her wife is staying with us while Svalin's pregnant. Sydney had an accident but it wasn't anything one of us did. She'll be okay. You should visit when you can. Your friends, too. We could have a beach party."

"Please if I was using that you wouldn't be getting any tips and you would be doing all the bad chores," Casey says smirking.

"Met those two once on a date," Casey says, "Left early though. Kind felt like the fourth wheel of a tricycle. Still they seemed nice enough. Not sure how much time I'll have in the future to be able to do that type of trip this summer but it does sound like some good craic."

	"A cookout would be great. There's been good surfing off the beach," Marlow told them. "I don't surf, but Halbjorn and Vernique do so we have equipment. It would be fun to have the teams together. "It will," Marlow said. Her face flushed with excitement. She'd never invited anybody to the compound before and now she was practically planning a whole party! Except for the actual details. Her first social invitation to another team would probably have some consequences. Asking permission hadn't yet occurred to her.

"I'll let Sydney know so the staff can expect you. Maybe the July holiday coming up? We have lots of room for people to stay for a few days. The chef is used to cooking for a lot of people even when it's only us."

	"Celebrating July 4th on American soil would be smashing," Quinn said. Despite being born in England Quinn had spent more of his life in New York. 	Quinn's many talents and the significance of July 4th in America were lost on Marlow, though she'd celebrated the holiday at least twice now. 	Marlow's smile grew. There were babies everywhere now. The subject was becoming very interesting to her, in a purely spectator way. "I'll leave from outside so I don't disturb anybody," she said, sliding off the high seat. "And I promise you'll have one of my bottles of Asgardian mead the very next time I see you."
