Chaos and the science of a broken motorcycle. (Lysi)
It had been entirely an impulse purchase, but it was the exact same bike she'd had back home. The damn serial number had even been the same and maybe that is what had sent MC over the edge. It didn't matter that it needed work; it was hers.

Except...while she could get the bike running, the baby blue 1979 Harley Davidson Sportster had some structural issues. Namely...it wouldn't drive straight and MC wasn't entirely certain how to fix that and she didn't have a whole lot of resources that took a petite redhead seriously. Not here. There was only one person she could think of.

Half an hour later, she'd tracked down Lysi and pulled up (or rather skidded dangerously up) to her curb.

	She takes it, quickly downing a gulp - not the experimental sip type, apparently. "Hey, that's pretty good... and, yeah. I tend to get comfortable in my rut. Lysi starts working on securing some of the bolts, once she has the obvious dents hammered out. Pity the mechanic who ever has to try and undo what Lysi has tightened down.

"Good for now, but soon, probably. I drink like a fish." Booze or no, apparently. "And, you know, cute... pretty little things... long hair, nice figure, cute butt, heels and make up." Sadly, she'd never win the bet with barmaids and waitresses.

	Yep, that's a reaction. "You seeing anyone?" she asks, without more than a slight sideways glance, mostly working on removing a couple of supports for the steering. Going to need to find replacements before the bike will run again. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"Want to go out some time?" she asks, still working at the frame, finally getting the bolts undone. Yeah, she knows they're already going for a late lunch, so obviously not that kind of go out some time. "We're going to need to hit the supply shop, the struts are shot. This was a first. A girl was asking her out. A pretty cool girl who could fix bikes. MC could feel the color in her ears and cheeks getting deeper, but she nodded.

"I'd like that."

Did she sound squeaky? She might have. Mercifully, Lysi mentioned a need to go get supplies and it gave MC something to fixate on instead of omgshewasgoingoutwithsomeone.

"There's one about ten minutes from here. Um, I think we'll have to take your bike, though."

	"Okay," MC squeaked and, once Lysi is situated on the bike, she climbs on herself, bringing her small arms around the larger, stronger woman and pulling herself tight. 	Oh yeah, this way is much more fun, even if Lysi does, indeed, drive like a madwoman, careening around traffic and weaving about until she finds the auto and motorcycle supply she was thinking of... and appreciates the presence of her passenger while she's at it. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	MC buries her face against Lysi's back and tries not to scream like a little girl a few times as Lysi drives like Stevie flies. By the time they arrive, MC is clinging to Lysi...and very unwilling to let go despite them having stopped. "...are we alive?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Lysi turns out to be as stable as she looks, a wall of walking muscle, and thus at least good for giving her some time to catch her feet.

At least until a couple of the car guys stare - at which point, Lysi takes advantage of the clinginess to dip MC, then kiss her hard, provided there's not too much struggling - before coming up for air with a "What?!" expression at the guys.

That done, she heads in to get the parts she needs.

There's not much struggling. In truth, there's none at all as the action catches MC so far off guard that she can't help but submit. When Lysi comes up for air, MC just looks at her in a half-lidded daze, shaking it off only when Lysi moves inside to get the parts.

"...ohmygod."

MC squeaks and then runs after Lysi while the car guys stare, jaws hanging open.

"Take a picture! Last's longer!" She yelps.

They've just broken brains. Including her own.

	Lysi is right in her elements - cracking skulls and breaking brains. She's already right at picking out the parts she needs, and getting a few extras, once she gave the guy at the counter the dimensions of bolts and the bike model she's shopping for parts for. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
