Canadian Winter (in June)
It was a risky move, but it had to be done. Shostakov was no friend to the royal family and if he was taken into government custody decades of work would be lost. If his comatose body could be grabbed by those who had the same interests, he could possibly be revived and work on the projects could resume. That 'son' of his knew what his father had been doing, but the kid didn't know half as much as his 'father'. No, they needed Shostakov and they had to get him before others did.

The warning was sent from a small internet cafe computer and bounced through two dozen different nodes around the world before it reached its destination in Canada. They had to be warned that the Russians were coming. Hopefully they would respond appropriately to the incursion into their land and during the conflict and chaos Shostakov could be taken out of there.

There were a lot of variables, but it would go as planned. It had to.

	Zviad was covering the ground level, making sure no one surprised from that level. He guessed he was deliberately put outside because his superiors didn't want one of his "issues" with endangering civilians crop up and ruin the mission. "What in..." He gasps in Georgian, though he quickly recovers. It must be the Hall girl, her powers were said to be like this. He extends his arm forawrd, an opening appears, spraying a super-cold mist at the metal so Zviad can bring free quicker. He begins to speak in English, though it is difficult. It's his third language afterall. "Stop, we jause wawt tha criminale."

	That pretty much summed up how Zviad felt the moment he was assigned to participate in this. He lets out a sigh that can even been heard through his helmet and shakes his head. 	When Zviad speaks it is a heavy Georgian accent. When angry, he tends to lapse into his mother's tongue. "I don't know! The damn bureacrats don't care who they hurt!" "What in..." If Zviad hand't been trying to convince the girl to compromise, he may have heard Alex coming sooner. As a result he turned just in time for the chatge to hit him up front instead of behind. The suit was more flexible than it looked, allowing Zviad the freedom of movement to utilize his Sambo techniques. Zviad steadies his feet in an attempt to halt the charge, putting his armor's enhanced strength to the test. Before he strikes he gives a final warning. "I do not want to fight you. We just want the criminal. Let us do this quickly so no one will be hurt."

Zviad cursed vehemently in Georgian. He cursed the politicians', he cursed the Canadians, and he cursed himself.

"Fine, but I tried to be reasonable," He had been briefed on the possible members of Alpha Flight he'd encounter and had an idea on how to respond. Zviad activated a device in his gauntlets that gave off a high-pitched sonic noise, meant to act against Alex's highly advanced senses while in animal form.
