Demons To The Left of Me, Undead to the Right, Here I Am Stuck In the Middle With You
The sun was starting to sink on the Western horizon and into the Pacific Ocean as another day was ending. A few miles south of 1800 Palos Verdes Drive the ground erupted in a spray of dirt. One by one soldiers came forth from the ground. Some were Spartans, some were Roman legionnaires, and some were Norsemen. A total of three thousand eventually stood in the dying light. They moved into formation and started marching.

	Halbjorn takes position in front of the building, using the structure to guard his back until he hears that the others have retreated. Not having to guard all sides is a respite for the moment, but he's still unarmed, and can't cause the mass destruction that slowed the ranks earlier. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	The call hasn't come yet that the others are even retreating, let alone in the training room. He smashes away a couple of the demons, turning at the new voice, and almost attacking his sister before recognition dawns. If he recognized what she said, it doesn't show, he just spins back to resume wrestling with the demons coming at him. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

If Marlow could hear them, she'd be surprised the godlings had given her any thought at all. They ignored her as part of the background scenery. Marlow on her end ignored them in turn. She had little in the way of social skills.

The demon minder's first and foremost duty was to keep Marlow alive at all costs. With the godlings retreating, it nudged Marlow into casting a spell that caused several dozen demons all cry out in agonizing horror. Then Marlow disappeared from the roof and reappeared in the training room.

	Griffen made his way into the training room. He was ready to help out though he found that he was still deeply terrified of the two armies. He just wouldn't let that stop him nor would he admit to this latter. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Halbjorn begins a fighting retreat, tearing one of the heavy double doors off its handles and using it as a thrown weapon to gain himself and his sister some space. "Indeed. We wilt need weapons." he calls to those in the training room already, just in case anyone down there needs something to do in preparation. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
