On The Road
The private plane touches down at Logan International airport at sundown and Avery's eyes snap open as he comes awake. He looks about wildly for a moment, uncertain of where he is, taking stock of the people around him. He's been feeling strange since the other night.

He's on this plane for a reason, but he doesn't know why. Furthermore, his mouth is so dry that he feels like he could drink a lake.

"Water..." he manages to croak, turning to Sydney.

"I don't really know. Audra and I weren't really close as kids and after she and Dad had their big fight, she really didn't talk to anyone except Adrian." Avery says.

"I try calling her sometimes and it usually lapses into awkward silence before one of us makes an excuse to hang up." he confesses.

What /would/ Audra do? Avery knew what he would do; go find this person and let them know they have family. Maybe she was already in touch with this person? But if that was so, Mom would have known something. And why would Adrian hide it?

"Let's go to Sydney. I'll introduce myself and if this person wants nothing to do with me, then I'll call Audra and tell her what happened. If they do, then maybe I can set something up for them to meet and plan a family event around it.

Whoever this person is, they're Zoey's cousin, and I want her to know her /whole/ family. Does that make any sense at all?" he asks.
