On The Road
The private plane touches down at Logan International airport at sundown and Avery's eyes snap open as he comes awake. He looks about wildly for a moment, uncertain of where he is, taking stock of the people around him. He's been feeling strange since the other night.

He's on this plane for a reason, but he doesn't know why. Furthermore, his mouth is so dry that he feels like he could drink a lake.

"Water..." he manages to croak, turning to Sydney.

	Avery and Sydney get to their car and head to the address in question. When they arrive, they find what looks to be a brand-new house with a "For Sale" sign up out front. A pair of men are laying down sod out front. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Avery gets out of the car and looks up at the house, then the men, looking everything over. "Excuse me. Is anyone still living in this house?" he asks. "My wife and I are thinking of buying it and wanted to speak to the owners." Avery says. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

One of the men, wearing green coveralls, stands up from laying sod and looks at the American duo from head to toe. He pulls off his brown ball cap and runs his fingers through his silver-white hair.

"Boys," he says over his shoulder in an American accent, "take a break. I'll talk to our interested buyers."

The men nod and head toward their truck a few feet away and break out their lunches, while the remaining man, "Leon" looks back to Avery and Sydney.

"So you like the house, do you? It's got a big back yard for kids, if you've got any. I'm Leon." he says, extending a hand.

"House burned down after the last owner died. They say her nephew did it. Most people don't want it after they hear that story." Leon says.

"About three years ago in May. Nice lady who lived there, but her nephew was a troubled young man. Father cut out on him, mother was never around and all that. He had a lot of...special needs.

He was...different." Leon says, looking between the pair as if trying to convey a secret only Avery and Sydney could know.

"The nephew set the house on fire after his aunt passed away. Cancer, bad stuff. A group of not-so-tolerant people caught up to him and nearly killed him. Last I heard, he got to a hospital in the city and no one's seen him since." Leon says.

	Avery grimaces. The trail was cold, if this nephew was the right guy. He wasn't certain, but Avery thought Leon was trying to tell them that this woman's nephew--his nephew-- was a mutant. "What was the owner's name?" Avery asks. "What about the young man?" (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	"The woman was named Jenna Allerdyce. Nice lady. Young, probably could have had a family of her own someday, if she'd lived." he says. "The boy's name is St. John." 	Syd committed the names to memory and would start looking up information on the people as soon as she got to a computer. If she couldn't find anything, she could possibly ask Mr. Stark for a favor. She'd bet he'd be able to find what they needed. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Avery got the information and silently thanked all that was holy that he had a human recorder next to him. If his memory ever failed, Sydney would be able to refresh it.

She always knew where he last left his keys, too.

Once Leon gave them the information, he guided her back to the car. Once inside, he looks at his arms, noting how red they've become. He didn't usually sunburn so easily.

"Let's get to that hospital. Maybe the trail isn't completely cold yet." he says.
